What was your First Nicholas Sparks Book

There is a lot of discussions about Fav/Last/Worst NS books i was wondering which was your first and did it switch you on to read more NS books.
Mine was The Notebook and i picked it up at the Airport by chance and read it in one go on my flight in floods of tears. From there i started picking up his books by random and so far have enjoyed the ones i have read.

a walk to remember. this was the first book that i ever read that made me cry. after i finished the book i saw the movie. from there i read the notebook, dear John, and the last song.
My first book of his was The Rescue, and after that it went:

-Dear John
-Safe Haven
-The Wedding
-A Walk to Remember
-The Lucky One (currently reading, no one spoil it!!!!)

The Notebook! The book was a classic, but the movie was ok. I am (still) so glad I read the book first!
My very first Nicholas Sparks book is "The Notebook" and I was a fan ever since.
Mine was A Walk To Remember... I have seen the movie and it was great but the book was so much better..."
My first book was A Walk to Remember, and it was beautiful. So then I read Dear John, then the Notebook... I think I have read 10 of his books. And I'm planning to read them all!
"Bend in the road" at 11 I did nt really like it much,found it a little dry.though I do appreciate the plot. But then I read " The Notebook" followed by " The last song", "A Walk to remember","True believer", "the choice" , "the rescue" , "nights in rodanthe" and" the best of me" and I loved them all.

I started reading his books after the Walk to Remember movie came out. Then read The Notebook, Bend in the Road, Nights in Rodanthane, and The Rescue in a row. All good books but then I went on a hiatus until I read Safe Haven before the movie. (Missed out on the Lucky One)

I've read a lot of remarks on here, but Nicholas Sparks is a great writer and I'm sorry if you don't enjoy his books!
A Walk To Remember was my first of NS books. I've read others but The Notebook is most definitely my favorite!!!
My first book was The Notebook. That book has made him one of my faves.

Why do you guys like Nicholas sparks ? He gives us false hope on love and real love isn't kissing in the rain for everyone. It's different . For my parents it's being with your best friends forever and be able to do anything for them

A Walk to Remember was my first Sparks novel. I saw the movie fell in love then read the book. Love the simplicity of his writing.

The first book I read by Nicholas Sparks was Safe Haven. I read it before the movie and have been hooked to his books ever since.
Mine first Sparks book was Dear John. It also happened to be the first book I read before watching the movie. I always try to read the book first now! I tried to read past Sparks books after watching the movies and I struggled to get into them.
The first Nicholas Sparks book I read was Message in a Bottle.
My first book was not a very popular one from Nicholas Sparks... It was "The Best of Me" and it is still one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks' book today! :)
My first was The Notebook, and ever since I have picked up an NS book I can find
The Notebook-I've enjoyed several other books by Nicholas Sparks, including Message in a Bottle and Nights in Rodanthe
