Ahhh, I just finished the 2nd installment. Have to wait for the 3rd to get to the library. Hopefully will be soon. I was a little disappointed by the 2nd one, especially the current developments in the Avatarity...but we'll have to see how it all comes out, neh?
I'm still looking for the third part. I think that the incorporated aspects of society in this are rather unique.I'm not sure that the developments in Avatarity are going to be that interesting.
I loved this series. Very interesting take on a future and I wonder if the VR plague is something humanity will have to worry about as our technology evolves.
I think we're starting to get into the VR plague now but haven't progressed as far as they have insinuated! More people feel a comfort zone in virtual reality than in life.
I loved the first book, but had a hard time reading the second. I tried several times, but couldn't seem to get past the first few chapters. Is the second/third worth pushing through?dmd
There are 4 novels in total. If you are not an old school Heinlein, Asimov & Arthur C. Clark fan - I'd say no.
I think there are more than 4 books. I was looking it up once and saw that the series had like 6 or something...maybe they weren't all out yet. I know that Justin's future is an interesting one--I accidentally read the summary of one of the future books (The Unincorporated Woman or something) and it spilled some beans. I want to read it...it's just hard with all the exposition. And I'm not a person to skip stuff--that's how I missed things about Jon Snow in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Had to go back and read every single page from book 3 to 5!! LOL!!dmd
