B | 17 comments Has anyone read Keri Arthur's Spook Squad series? (It starts with Memory Zero.) Looks good to me -- just haven't been able to get my hands on it.

Melissa I've been searching for this series as well. I'm interested in reading them, especially since it's a completed series. Amazon has all three for sale, but they are a little over $11 each and I've been waiting to see if anyone recommends them.

Jess I haven't been able to find these books either Bonnie. :(. BN and my library don't have any copies..

I might try to get them off Amazon, but I would rather have just gotten them out of the library.

Laura Do you guys belong to Paperback Swap? It's pretty cool, you should check it out!

B | 17 comments I don't Laura (but I know about it). PBS doesn't have these books, though. :(

B | 17 comments Okay, I joined PBS! :) And already have 2 requests. Fun!

There are 101 people looking for Memory Zero, though -- unlikely I'll get a copy there. :(

Sayuri_x | 6 comments I'm in the middle of reading this series and it's great! Worth $11 a book. I know they are finally getting printed in the UK soon. Maybe you could get them cheaper through amazon then. Or ebay?

Thanks for the info! I'll have to get them now. I was having a hard time paying that for a book under 300 pages if I wasn't sure I'd like them.

Cool, just a warning tho they're like Riley Jensen books but without all the smexin'. If it's smexin you're reading them for, there is none. Well not so far anyways..... *g*

Of course, nobody buys books just for the smexxxin. (Not me anyways..LOL) But they have great charcters and plotlines and the action keeps coming.

Melissa They seemed more Young Adult when I had first read the descriptions. Are they sort of sci fi? I'm more about the action and I like Keri Arthur's writing so I'm thinking I'd really like them.

Sayuri_x | 6 comments Yeah, they are very sci-fi. It's all about genetics and cloning mixed in with vampires, shifters and all sorts of paranormal creatures. I wouldn't class them as YA at all but then I don't read a lot of YA. They fall firmly in UF territory for me. Strong female lead with a little bit of romance from the lead male.

I found them to be very reminescent of Riley books. Same Style of writing. She ramps up the suspense and really delivers.

Cathy (Cathygreytfriend) | 55 comments How wild that you guys are asking about this! I recently got into the Riley books (love them) and wanted to read this series, too. I've been into ebooks a lot lately, mostly though http://www.fictionwise.com. I was frustrated because they had books 2 and 3 but not 1. They suggested I contact Keri and the publisher, and voila, responses a day later and results soon after. So if you don't mind reading on a computer or handheld (I love using my iPhone now, it's easier on my hands than holding a book open and goes with me everywhere), here's one sure source. Also, try contacting the publisher, ImaJinn Books, I think they have copies to sell, but not cheaper used copies. Too bad my library didn't have them, either.

Thank goodness. I like her writing style, and was hoping to find something she'd done that was a little less porny. I certainly don't mind the occasional well-placed sex scene between developed characters, but I don't like books where the entire plot seems to revolve around having sex, meeting new people to have sex with, and going on adventures just so they can have "we're in danger" sex in the middle of them.

I'll keep an eye out for these.

Jennifer Wadsworth (jeniferj) Donna - your comment made me laugh out loud! I felt the same way about the Riley books. I was interested in the story, but the chick was a nympho, I swear! Just how many time CAN a girl have sex in a day with different people??

Glad to hear the Memory Zero books have a little less of that. Anyone know about her other series? I believe there is a Nikki & Michael series, Damask Circle Series, and Ripple Creek Werewolf series? I have the first of the new Myth & Magic series, but haven't read it yet.
