      I just finished reading

. This has to be one of Nora's best books. I know I say that about every book she writes, but I reallllly mean it this time. (view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

That's a fav of mine also. And I say the same thing about a lot of this series, Randi. Can't help it when there are so many great books within one series! Only JD Robb!

You have me intrigued!
      I've just started

and I have to say this is the first book in a long time that has me feeling like I might not be able to keep reading because of the subject matter. I am not a squeamish person - I love blood and gore and murder. I can read about abuse, rape etc. But (view spoiler)

      I've been re-listening to

. I really thought this one was the one where (view spoiler). But I was wrong... which one is it?

I'm reading Festive in Death. I should have waited until closer to Christmas to read it. It's so good.

Right now I'm finishing another re-read,

. The killer is actually a bit scary in this one. And the emotional turmoil always makes it even more interesting, especially near the end. :)

The emotional turmoil and the mystery spayed me in this one.

Without a doubt, my least favorite book in the entire series. It was just too dense (lots of jargon) for me.

The best thing about the book is the very end. It has an exciting climax.

@ Jonetta- I'm just plugging along, reading a little at a time during breaks and lunch at work. I'll finish eventually.. LOL

Seriously skim!

  Seriously skim!
Somehow I skipped over from Fantasy in Death (#30) to Celebrity in Death (#34). I think it was because I took a break from the series. So I 'read' (audiobooks) 34-37 before realizing I skipped over 3 books. So now filling in the blanks and up to reading New York to Dallas (#33) before I pick back up on Concealed in Death (#38). Also found Interlude in Death novella (#12.5) which features Chief Darcia Angelo who shows up in Treachery in Death (#32). Good background to read the novella before #32 but as usual not absolutely necessary.

That was quite a gap!! Missing NY2D was huge.

Missing Treachery (one of the best IMO) and especially NY2D (the best) are big misses. You'll love 'em when you get there.
