I'm currently on Vengeance in Death and stocked up to Interlude in Death. I like to read one of these as a palate cleanser after some rougher reads so my moving through the series is relatively slow.
Oh yeah, between true crime and nonfiction informative books on criminology/criminal justice fields it is a big break. Even though she hits on some rougher topics at times, she manages to keep it lighter than most.

Portrait was definitely great. Close to a personal favourite (Though I have a lot of them)!
I'm almost done with Concealed in Death.
My favorites are Glory, then Naked, then that one with the crooked cop (Treachery?), then New York to Dallas.
Wow I haven't realized it's been months sine I last read an In Death book... Time flies quickly! Now reading

Thanks! This book is hilarious because of how Eve and Roarke are reacting to Mavis' pregnancy :D

I'm just finishing my re-read of
. Much more gruesome than I remembered but I missed a lot of the details. Amazing book and still one of my favourites. I strangely love the books that are a bit more violent on occasion.

I am finally back to
I have it as electronic loan from the library. I've missed Eve & Roarke, & company.

That's a really, really good one.

Finished
last night, just started
this morning! Jonetta, Catherine Elizabeth - TREACHERY has got to be in my top 10 of the In Death books.
Jonetta wrote: "It's in my top 10, too. Maybe top 5."It was a nice way to see how a dirty cop would be handled by Eve. It kept the action up, and wasn't gory - just fast paced and still entertaining.
I'm re-reading
. This is one of my top 10.
Just finished Strangers in Death. I love how 2 seemingly unrelated murders were tied together. (view spoiler)

Just finished CONCEALED IN DEATH. One of the top 20 in my humble opinion. I don't know what drug that reviewer on Amazon was on when he/she said that Nora didn't write it. I really enjoyed it. The whole cold case thing really appealed to me.Totally iced.
Here I thought I'd get all caught up this weekend on the In Deaths. No such luck. I'm #12 in line to get FESTIVE from my library's Overdrive site and #2 at the library to get the physical book.Or, I'll just use my credit on the 28th Audible.
And, they're off!
Yep, though I'd prefer to do the audiobook. But, it looks like the hard copy will come in first. But, I'll probably use my credit on the 28th anyway.
I re-read from the beginning and just recently read Festive in Death. Can't wait until the next book!
I've gone back to the beginning while I wait for FESTIVE to come in to the library.Just out of curiosity, how many times has this group gone through the series in the "Buddy Reads"?

I was already looking forward to it... Now I just can't wait!
Finally going to read
... So excited to read it, ever since I saw it floating around in this group :D
I took a break to do other things and then read some scary Halloween books, now back to Roarke and Eve and Peabody and Summerset and the rest, and I feel like I'm back with old friends. Currently reading
