I'm currently on Vengeance in Death and stocked up to Interlude in Death. I like to read one of these as a palate cleanser after some rougher reads so my moving through the series is relatively slow.

If you're reading true crime, this has got to be a respite.

Oh yeah, between true crime and nonfiction informative books on criminology/criminal justice fields it is a big break. Even though she hits on some rougher topics at times, she manages to keep it lighter than most.

I'm just finishing my re-read of . Much more gruesome than I remembered but I missed a lot of the details. Amazing book and still one of my favourites. I strangely love the books that are a bit more violent on occasion.

It was a nice way to see how a dirty cop would be handled by Eve. It kept the action up, and wasn't gory - just fast paced and still entertaining.

Just finished CONCEALED IN DEATH. One of the top 20 in my humble opinion. I don't know what drug that reviewer on Amazon was on when he/she said that Nora didn't write it. I really enjoyed it. The whole cold case thing really appealed to me.

Here I thought I'd get all caught up this weekend on the In Deaths. No such luck. I'm #12 in line to get FESTIVE from my library's Overdrive site and #2 at the library to get the physical book.
