Kirsten (kmcripn) I'm sorry for misunderstanding!

Glad you started the series, donna - it's addictive, though, just warning you! I've had times reading it when people had to remind me to do things - like eating and sleeping!

donna (donnahag) | 51 comments Kirsten I am finding that out. That's all I want to do is read this series!!

Thanks I am trying to catch up as fast as i can because they are so good!

message 604: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) Donna, if you ever get the chance, try the audiobooks. Susan Ericksen is just incredible as narrator!

Elle Rush (ellerush) | 28 comments I'm rereading "Conspiracy In Death" but it's slow going because I know Eve's going to break my heart again but it's soooo worth it in the end. Getting there is so painful though.

Conspiracy tugs on the heart strings for sure. I'm like you Elle with rereading these, even going in I know what's going to happen but it still gets me every time.

Thank you. My next book is Treachery in Death (In Death #32) by J.D. Robb . I have 7 novels and 2 novellas to go to be caught up.

Wow J.S. - that's awesome! You've progressed through them at a good pace. Hope you're enjoying them.

message 615: by Randi (new)

Randi | 93 comments I just started Reunion in Death (In Death, #14) by J.D. Robb and I'm loving Peabody's role in this (trying not to spoil).
BTW, I just finished Seduction in Death (In Death, #13) by J.D. Robb and thought that was one of the best of the series so far. Although...they are all so good!

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11212 comments Mod
Yay Randi...you're right ahead of our BR. Maybe we can catch up to you! :)

Oh yes, I am enjoying them. Only one so far was one that we could have done without. That one is Salvation in Death (In Death #27) by J.D. Robb .

message 618: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11212 comments Mod
So it's safe to say that Salvation is your least favorite of the series? I'm not sure what mine would be.

Yes, that would be safe to say. It's the one with the priests. The one that has less of secondary characters and a less interesting investigation.

message 620: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (nickym96) | 12 comments In my audiobook listening, I'm up to Judgement in Death (for like the 3rd or 4th time). In reading, I just finished Thankless in Death. I'm waiting not so patiently in line at my online library to get to Concealed in Death. Once I have that, then I can read the novella that comes just before it. For some reason, I'm waiting to read the novella because I don't want to ever get to the last In Death book. When I get Concealed in Death, I'll know that there's something waiting for me to read. I'm like a drug addict making sure I have my next fix :-)

If I had to choose a favorite so far, aside from Naked in Death because that's how it all got started, I'd choose Survivor in Death. That one was super emotional. My least favorite would be Celebrity in Death. That one was actually a chore to finish.

message 621: by donna (new)

donna (donnahag) | 51 comments I just finished Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb and I just started Rapture in Death (In Death, #4) by J.D. Robb moving right along in this great series!!

Wow JS! 31 down...very nice!

message 629: by Karma Queen (new)

Karma Queen (karmaqueen) | 260 comments Good question Sandra. I'd have to day Naked in Death is in my top 5 since it's the start and got me hooked. I'll have to review them before I list any more. I can remember plot points but want to make sure that I attribute them to the right book.

message 630: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11212 comments Mod
Naked in Death will always be a fav just because it started it all! :)

message 631: by Randi (new)

Randi | 93 comments I just finished reading Reunion in Death (In Death, #14) by J.D. Robb and this was great (as always) but lots of good info in this one. I'm off to start Purity in Death (In Death, #15) by J.D. Robb in between some other stuff.

message 632: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) I like Naked in Death, but I prefer Glory. Also, Treachery (is that the one with the crooked cops?) and New York to Dallas.

message 633: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments new york to dallas is my top 5 as well and Naked in death I would have at #1just because it started it all

message 634: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) I agree, Sheri. But there is something just perfect about Glory.

message 637: by Stacey (new)

Stacey | 45 comments I just finished Concealed in Death. I have read, re-read this series so many times I've lost count! My all time favorite is Glory in Death but New York to Dallas is a close second and I enjoyed Holiday a lot.

Paula | 245 comments Kirsten wrote: "I agree, Sheri. But there is something just perfect about Glory."

Yes, so far Glory in Death is my favorite also, but be forewarned, I just started and I am only up to book 5.=)

message 639: by Dee (last edited Apr 26, 2014 08:59PM) (new)

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 1070 comments My favorite is Portrait then, Oh geez, several ah Seduction, Conspiracy, Ceremony. I do like Vengeance, although it is pretty gruesome. I think I like the ones where there are big changes in the relationships with the characters.

message 640: by Maggie (new)

Maggie | 1576 comments I started Concealed in Death yesterday. My favorite in the series is Innocent in Death, I have re-read that one many times. I also really likes the novella Haunted in Death, I wish that one been a full length book.

message 641: by Randi (new)

Randi | 93 comments I just finished reading Purity in Death (In Death, #15) by J.D. Robb and while the case to solve wasn't my favorite, the character developments were WONDERFUL!

message 642: by donna (new)

donna (donnahag) | 51 comments I just finished Rapture in Death and loved it of course! starting Ceremony in Death next!

Great! Y'all are moving right along.

message 644: by Melissa (new)

Melissa I just finished Ceremony in Death, it hasn't always been one of my favorite of the series but I loved some of the truly emotional scenes that were in it.

Will be looking for Vengeance in Death next. I have found the UK versions covers are so pretty so I'm trying to find that version to get!

message 645: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11212 comments Mod
That's a good idea, Melissa. Those covers are nice!

message 646: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 15057 comments Mod
I love those covers, too.

message 647: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) Yeah, the UK covers seem to focus on the romance, while the US covers focus on the mystery.

message 648: by Paula (new)

Paula | 245 comments WOW. Just finished Vengeance in Death. Need some time to clear my head. What a fantastic, gripping, edge of your seat read. Roarke just gets better with each book.

message 649: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11212 comments Mod
I agree, Paula. The characters & relationships are developing, growing stronger, each coming into their own. And Roarke - just gets more and more special.
