Getting around Goodreads

Hello,
My published work includes The Secret World of Unicorns, a couple of mainstream novels, lots of books for educational publishers, and some independent publications. I've been writing full time for a couple of decades, mostly in collaboration with my husband, Wim Coleman. We both really like the independent route best, though it's pretty hard to become visible in the chaos out there. So I'm trying to find my way around Goodreads to attract friends and readers. You can let me know what I'm doing wrong (or right).

Our newest novel, Mayan Interface, will be released in September. Although we'll do a giveaway soon, I'll send a copy to the first 3 people from this group who want to review it. Just give me an address in the US or Canada.

We don't have an ebook yet, but we do plan to. We're very indie and there just aren't enough of us!
