Oh, I had assumed it was already discussed in the group reads. Being new etc. The thing is since I'm in school and am taking a lit class no less I won't be able to dedicated as much time to reading TBK as I would like. Usually after I read a good amount I update it on my profiles I have done today. I'll see what can do.

If you go in the book page of TBK (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/49...) you can see at the bottom all the discussions on GR that talk about The Brothers Karamazov. If you want you can also open a discussion about the book from there.
Another possibility is that you go on your homepage and on the top, in the middle of the page, you click on (showing:) "books". So you can see if someone has opened a discussion about TBK outside a group; but this only if you have shelved TBK as read or currently reading (if I don't remember wrong).

Thanks for the help on this.

I'll be sure to look it up.

I have read 151 pages so far and it has been meat-no fat to be found. I'm (pleasantly) simply surprised by the that; most books, especially from this era always have a section of the book for the reader to breathe or get distracted while the next part of the plot is being readied. Not here. Best you cam get are a few lines of exposition/description then it's back to action. Now don't get me wrong I have read "Notes From Underground" which was 100 pages of sharp psychoanalysis but I am very impressed so far and I want to know if this is just early in the book and I am just getting to eager? (No spoilers please).

I have just finished reading Crime and Punishment and have to new choices for my next Russian book. On the one hand I had stopped reading The Brothers Karamazov (which I really liked) for C&P, but I have also been holding on to a copy of Chekhov's The Major Plays for a long time and gave only read his short stories. I would really appreciate any one's advice on this so I can expand my Russian lit a little more.
