Advance Praise for Hotel Noir

“I’m thoroughly intrigued by this novel, though not necessarily for straightforward reasons. I think what has hooked me is that it doesn’t seem like anything else. Casper Silk has a wholly unique voice. It’s an entirely bizarre one, too, and Hotel Noir is a dark yet evocative portrait of an island quickly changing, a hotel of another era, and a man caught in the midst, still suffering over the long-ago death of his wife, trying to help a young girl, and falling through the cracks that society allows to widen as the times change.”
Lexy Bloom

Welcome to the Hotel Noir, peerless gem of hospitality and sole holder of a Michelin star on the island of St. Germaine.
When the controversial American author Francis Stein is stabbed to death in the hotel’s environs, the search for his murderer takes islander Bat Manley north to the other half of Stein’s double life, south to St. Germaine’s vice-ridden slums, and finally into the realm of the psyche, where the blind see and the dead speak.
A kaleidoscopic striptease of the human soul, Hotel Noir will make you sweat.

Adele Symonds (adelesymonds) | 9 comments Hi, I also would prefer a hard copy but I understand that this can get expensive. I live in the UK and review on my blog at http://adelesymonds.wordpress.com . I also review on behalf of www.newbooksmag.com and netgalley and more often now I am being asked to review books by Indie authors and contacts from GR and my blog.
I post my reviews on GR and Amazon.co.uk as well.

If you are interested please contact me at adele1phil2@hotmail.com I will read and review a copy for my kindle but as I said I much prefer hard copies and tend to read these before I get round to my kindle books.
Adele

Jack Chapman (thejackchapman) | 2 comments Hi, this sounds like a book I could enjoy. If you're still looking for reviews I'm at JackChapman75@gmail.com and can read e-books in all common formats.
(New to the ARR group so I hope this is the right way to go about it!)

Pale Fire Press (palefirepress) | 5 comments Terrific, Jack. I will send your digital ARC right away.

I see you have written a book about the immortal Marilyn Monroe. One day, I would love to hear your opinion of "My Week with Marilyn."

Enjoy Hotel Noir, and thanks for your interest.
