Time and Again

After decades of trying to get a screen adaptation of Time and Again, Lionsagate have set the ball rolling again and have already assigned directing and producing duties to Doug Liman. Liman directed the first Bourne Identity and Jumper.

Of course films take at least 2 years to make so dont expect it to be out anytime soon!

So if you have read the book, who would you like to see in the cast? Are you happy to hear it finally getting an on screen treatment?

The main character in Jack Finney's novels is always the same guy in my head ... but I've never put a face on him.

I'm always excited to see a favorite book make it to the big screen, but it's rare that it's as good as the book. There are some exceptions though. Let's hope this one is as great as the book.

I would worry more about the things they have to do, to get it onto the screen. Like, adding explosions. Sex. Chase scenes. Will the tone and charm of the book be preserved? Almost certainly not.
