I know what you mean. I sat there and thought about it for a while before I rated it. I kept going back and forth. I rated it and figure I'd change it after I thought about it for a while.

Im such a stingy star giver! I usually look at where I have put other books and that helps me determine how I rate the new ones and this one is just barely able to compete with my 4stars. One of these days GR will give us 1/2 stars!

I'm afraid they won't. I saw the owner post somewhere in the Librarians group that they would not likely add the 1/2 stars rating, simply because studies shows that people would vote less with 1/2 stars. Weird? Maybe, maybe not... Apparently, when given too many options, people will most likely have trouble with their ratings and will hesitate too much. They would struggle too much between a 3 or a 3.5 rating and would just end up giving up rating the damn book entirely.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this, I guess that it would be easier for me to rate with 1/2 stars, but apparently, it is not the case with the majority of people. ;)
