Faith finally arrived at the bridge, hand in hand with Jake. "Woah, it's beautiful out here.." she said, looking around.
Jake nodded in agreement, "It is."
Faith moved to the edge of the bridge and leaned on the railing, looking out at the beautiful scenery. She sighed, content, then looked over at Jake with a smile.
Jake smiled and moved to stand behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and leaning his chin on her shoulder.
Faith smiled and turned to kiss Jake on the cheek. When she pulled away, she looked into his eyes. "I love you," she whispered so quiet she could barely hear it come out of her mouth, but she knew he had heard it.
Jake smiled and touched her cheek lightly, "I love you too." he replied softly, his eyes watching hers intensely.
Faith looked over at Jake again, she was lost in his eyes. It was like she was in a trance.
Jake turned her so she was facing him, his hands on either side of her holding the railing, trapping her against the rail. he leaned over her, his lips brushing hers lightly.
Faith smiled and her hands wrapped around his neck, entangling in his hair. She brought her lips up to his and kissed him softly, pressing him closer to her.
Jake pressed her up against the rail, his lips kissing hers hungrily.
Faith smiled against Jake's lips and continued to kiss him sweetly but passionately, her hands still were entangled in his hair.
Jake sighed against Faith's lips, his hands bolding her hips gently but firm. He kissed her softly.
"I love you," Faith murmured again, against Jake's lips, "Probably more then I should."
Jake smiled sadly and pulled away, "you should know I'm not perfect." He said quietly, tracing her lips with his finger, "I've done things, I've stolen and lied to stay alive..."
"I know, but if it was to stay alive, then it doesn't matter," Faith said, gazing into Jake's eyes, "That's not going to change how I feel about you."
"I'm a street rat, Faith." He said softly, his eyes sad, his hand caressing her cheek.
"You're more then that to me." Faith responded softly, placing her hand over his on her cheek.
Ryan kissed her lightly, "I'm glad."
Faith smiled, "I could never leave you, I love you too much." she whispered against his lips.
Jake brushed her hair away from her face, "you're too pretty for a guy like me," he said softly, "you'll leave me some day."
Faith looked at Jake, "No, Jake. I'll never leave you. I love you." she said, still looking at Jake intensely.
Jake laughed, "okay." He said, not believeing her. Oh he knew she thought it was true, but they were 15. She would move on some day, to a guy who deserved her. But he was content to have her until then.
"You don't believe me, do you?" Faith said with a laugh. "You're so defiant, Jake," she joked with a smile, still holding him close to her.
Jake smiled, "yes, I'm defiant and you're stubborn. Quite a pair, aren't we?" He grinned and kissed her cheek.
Faith laughed, "Stubborn?" she asked as she looked into his eyes.
"Yes," Jake replied simply, "stubborn and beautiful. A dangerous combonation."
Faith smiled as her heart skipped a beat when Jake called her beautiful. "Thank you," she whispered quietly, looking into his eyes.
Jake laughed, "you're welcome, Faith."
"So, Marigold and Ryan seem really exclusive now." Faith said with a grin. She was glad her sister was happy.
Jake grinned, "Yeah, seams like it."
"I'm glad she's happy though. She really needs some happiness in her life and Ryan seems like a great guy for her. Way better then Will," she said Will's name like he was a monster. In a way, he was, for betraying Marigold.
Jake looked up at will's name, "will? The pirate?" His eyes narrowed, "that no good..... guy." He didn't want to swear in front of her, "he broke stella's heart and I'm right ready to kill the guy for it."
"He broke Marigold's heart too...for Anna." Faith said with a slightly angry expression.
Jake shook his head, "that man......"
Faith touched Jake's cheek lightly with the back of her hand, "It's alright Jake, Stella's happy now, isn't she?" she asked, her fingers lingered on his face for a moment.
Jake laughed, "Yes, yes I guess it all worked out in the end, huh?" He took her hand in his and kissed it lightly.
Faith smiled and held Jake's hand in hers, looking into his eyes. Once again, she found herself lost in them. "I don't think you realize," Faith said after a moment, moving her face close to his, "How much you have changed my life. For the better." she said, her forehead resting against Jake's.
Jake smiled, "I don't thin you realiza how much you've changed me." He replied, "for the better."
"We're just perfect for each other, aren't we?" Faith half-joked, even though she was somewhat serious.
Jake shrugged, "we're just too stubborn for anyone else to put up with." He grinned
Faith laughed softly and moved so her lips brushed against Jake's, "When I said I'll never leave you earlier, I meant it. I know I'm only 15, but what I feel is real. Nothing can change that." she whispered against his lips, looking into his eyes.
