Oh sorry.
Oh sorry.

All started normally today. Me, my glorious face, and my not so glorious friends explored the mountains. Many nymphs stared at me as they took in my beautiful face. As I wandered around the great mountains, my stunning hair wanted to venture out further than usual, and before I knew it, I was lost. “Is anyone out here?” I cried out in an alluring voice. “I’m here!” said an awful, high-pitched voice . “Come here!” my awesome voice cried out. Before I knew it, two wrinkled, disgusting arms were around me. My muscles threw them away from me. My lovely, shining, sparkling blue eyes saw the most hideous nymph in the world! She was so ugly my amazing mouth could have thrown up right then and there! “I would die before I would have you touch me!” I yelled to her. “I would have you touch me!” cried the nymph. How dare someone like her would think my prettiness was the perfect match for her! As she leaned in forward to me I angrily shouted, “Once touch of those lips would kill me!” “Kill me!” she begged, but I would never do something that would get my hands dirty like that. Suddenly, she fell to the floor, for an eternal sleep.
Finally! I thought to myself. Hot and tired, I went to the nearby lake to splash water on my face, but before I did anything, my glorious eyes saw a face, a face as beautiful as mine! “Beautiful water nymph,” I cried, “ I love you! Be mine!” and I reached out to hug her, but her face was gone. Once the water was calm, I saw her face once again. How could she not love me? I stayed by her side day and night, staring at her glorious face. Many times I plunged my arms into the water, hoping to touch her, but she would leave the second my arms touched the water. Each day, I felt weaker and weaker, but I was afraid the amazing face would be gone if I left her side for even one minute. “Woe is me for I loved in vain!” I shouted for the world to hear. Then, I heard the voice of the ugly nymph repeat, “I loved in vain!” Not a nice thing to hear on my last day. As I felt my awesome life slip away, I weakly yelled to my one and only love, “ Farewell, my love, farewell.” On my last breath, I heard the ugly voice repeat me yet again, “My love…farewell.”
