Did anyone else find the set up in the first couple chapters with all of the kingdoms and the kings really confusing? I actually had to write them all down because I kept forgetting who was who :)

the kings are really confusing but they don't feature much in the books so you'll not be constantly flipping back and forth to remember who the kings are.
So I'm almost finished with the first part. I really like Po's character. I think it's beneficial to Kat to have someone to fight who pretty much matches her strength. But the fact that Po seems to "have eyes in the back of his head" is slightly suspicious. I'm wondering if this is the result of really good training, or something more? Does anyone else have any thoughts so far?
i'm gonna screw with your brain and tellyou that i already know why he 'has eyes in the back of his head' i thas to do with both training and other factors!!!!

I'm on the second part too. I like Po's Grace a lot better now, but I can see why Katsa wasn't too happy with him. I think it's cute how he can sense her stronger than he can sense anyone else :)

I loved the part when Katsa tried to get Po's attention the first time. It was really funny. Actually, a lot of that chapter was pretty funny.
I like The part where she turns and asks raff if he is in love with her too :D she always barges in and asks her doubts directly :D

Lol not to sound like a pervert or anything but this was the weirdest lovemaking I read of ... I mean I didn't realize that they were actually lovemaking till the end :D
Chapter 29 ... They are eating,drinking and travelling and fighting winter for a really long time ... Almost 20 pages ... God ... That's exaggeration ..
no kidding!! in regards to her shooting leck then, it would have ruinded the end of the story. no spoilers here!!!

I just finished. Wow. I absolutely loved this book. From the characters to the setting to the whole plot, it was great :)
