James Herbert

I haven't read anything from James Herbet but i am very interested in finding out more about his work. Has anyone read him? If so what is your fave book? What do you like about his work?

OH MY GOSH. I read his book The Fog when I was 12 and I have never been able to stop thinking about it since! I had always talked about it to friends and anyone that would listen. I remember at a family reunion my aunt picked it up to see where I was at in it, and then she started reading a little and went and got into a HUGE fight with my mom, asking how she could let me read such filth. Ha ha! Thank you for posting this, now I am going to re-purchase that book as well as his others!

Thank you Sara! It is nice to meet someone who has read something from him. I am thinking I need to read some of his work. I was going to start with Haunted; that book looks interesting :)

Read 'Haunted' then 'Ghosts of sleath'.Both books feature David Ash who will appear again in his new book, first one in 8 years, 'Ash' which is out on 30th August. I Thaaang you!!

i really love james herbert my favorite is the dark which was amazing, then the rats and lair, but i've just finished the secret of crickly hall and it was amazing best book i've read this year so far, Sepulchre was really good to though, i'm just about to start the ghosts of sleath so i'm hoping this will be as good.
