Garuda predate man, and predate Kyne. They feed off of the chaos and the rage of the Spirits, which were the only things to come before them. Some time later Dragons came, then other Kyne, and Humans soon after. Humans worshiped Dragons as GODS and their prayers spoke words of praise, and as we know, words have power, making the dragons a bit Divine, thus making the Dragon Gods. The Spirits then created other realms, seeing how dragons ruled over man and how man trembled. They LOCKED away Dragons in Draconia and the ones who stayed were forced into an endless slumber. As in Kyne tradition, a Kyne must first prove it's worth then pick a Clan at their Comming of Age ceremony. The two clans, Light and Dark, waged war upon eachother one day, and the battle lasted 100 years, or longer. When the war was brought down by a sudden agrement, it starved the Garuda, who was feeding off it. Being the supposed last of it's kind, it was getting all the anger and with its food supply gone, it fell into a deep sleep, never to wake up.
