My name is not spelled with dots in it. It is KT Pinto, not K.T. Pinto.On my first book, Celeste, the publisher unfortunately spelled it incorrectly and now it's a constant struggle to get all my books listed under my correct name.
Please fix this on my author profile, and please list all of my books on the site (or advise me how to do so).

GR Policy is to use dots after initials - only a GR employee could change
KT...as clarification, my understanding is that KT is your name, and not your initials...am I correct?

I will get it corrected...looks like some are listed that way, some with the "dots." Can I add the bio information from your website on your author page, too?
Well, heck. I'm such a dope. You're a GR author, so I can't make changes...but you can. :) If you have problems, post back, and we'll get rivka to help.

"Sorry, only users with librarian status can edit book & author data."
I don't have 50 books shelved yet, so I can't become a librarian...

Correct. That is the policy. We must be consistent for all authors, or it becomes too confusing.

Hmmm, there's a similar situation going on with this author CJ Roberts. She's a GR author and CJ seems to be her name so it wouldn't be correct to add dots after the initials, since they aren't *actually* initials. At the same time there's another author in the database with the same first name, except with dots.Should the same apply to CJ Roberts, then?

Looks like we have to wait for a super to fix this then.
A super can't fix GR author profiles. Rivka or the author can do it.
While I can understand having a policy regarding initials (though I do not agree with it, no one should be forced to write their name in a way that they do not; if publishers put it one way, I don't believe GR should be overstepping), forcing someone to insert dots into their actual name, thereby turning it into something it is not, is totally bogus. I mean, if someone said "No, you have to spell your name R.ivka" or "Pat.rick" would that be okay??
I think an author should be forced to have their name be what it is published as. If that author is published as CJ not C.J. then it should be CJ.This goes for Alyson Noel too... who should be Alyson Noël, but her profile is Noel.
