I have personally read every single book this man has written, and I agree with King, he is one of the best kept secrets of the genre. No holding back when it comes to his writings.

Yes, orange is definitely an incentive for reading this in August. (Note: Janice and I belong to another group that does challenges. Part of our Rainbow challenge is to read orange books in August. Check the group out, if you like: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1...)
Blurb on the front of my paperback by Stephen King: "A Master of the Macabre!"
Bram Stoker winner for Little's novel Revelation.
Stephen King blurb on 1st page of book: "This is Bentley Little's best book yet. Frightening, thought-provoking, and impossible to put down."

Anyway, this time we are starting this year off with The Store by Bentley Little from the horror genre. I'm looking forward to it.
Stephen King recommends this author and book. He says: "BEST OUTRIGHT HORROR NOVELIST. Bentley Little, in a walk. Don't know Bentley Little? You're not alone. He's probably the genre's best-kept secret, but at least 10 of his novels are available in paperback; you can pick up three for the price of that flashy new hardcover you've got your eye on. The best thing about Little is that he can go from zero to surreal in 6.0 seconds. My favorites are The Store (think Wal-Mart run by SAYYY-tan) and Dispatch, in which a young fellow discovers that his letters to the editor actually get things done. Bad things.
Looking for a copy to buy. Amazon has used copies for 1 penny with $3.99 shipping. That's $4. Not bad, eh?
Hope we can get a few people to join us in discussion this time around!
