John stood up numbly, taking his arm dropped as his sister was taken by Strider into the closet. He didnt even bother since she so obviously didn't need him. So This was Rose Lalonde, purple text lady. She looked so serious and well...poker faced. Her eyes were so swift and the way she moved just came off as intelligent. There was no way she would ever want to talk to him, let alone be friends with someone like him. Dirk must Have been wrong about Dave too. Pftch. As if Dave, who liked EVERYONE would give him a second thought. "I'm going to step into the hallway, if that's okay.." he smiled fakely. And he did.

"Whhhyyy?" Roxy asked, suddenly trying hard not to cry. She was so baby faced, and with her little bob, she looked even younger. "Why, Jade, why does it hurt afterward?"

John looked up at Dirk "No, this is your family..! You, Roxy, Dave, Rose, Casey, and soon probably jade. If anything I'm just the annoying neighbor in this.." he smiled sadly. "I'm not sure about your wife, but babies usually leave the mothers exhausted and tired for weeks."

John put both hands to his face as he hugged Roxy. He had been crying and hadn't noticed. "Okay.." he said shakily, looking down. "I'll help you guys as much as you need."

Roxy groaned and pulled the covers up. She felt like crap.

"I think she needs some sleep. Today's been crazy." John looked closely at little Casey. That was the best name for a little girl... She had light, beautiful eyes and dark hair. He smiled. It was like a little baby girl him.

"Casey or the woman that I've hurt?" Dirk said, beginning to cry. "She...Roxy's too young to be hurt."

Roxy managed to stare at the baby's little ringlets. Aww. Finally, someone who looked like her in the family.

"Both, but Roxy more urgently." he pulled the sheet around her. "You're really brave, Roxy. You deserve rest now." he handed her a pill and turned back to Dirk. "I guess you were wrong about your brother, though." he smiled a little.

"Really?" Roxy asked. "Did I do good?" She looked at her daughter and smiled. "Isn't Dirk so tall?"

"Dave's bisexual," Dirk admitted. "He really liked you...he just had a funny way of showing it." He looked at Roxy. "Baby, I am MORE than proud of you."

"Sure...looks like my mom." Dave sighed and kicked the dog.

Rose rolled her eyes slightly at her red-eyed brother's oddity. Why on Earth did he have to run from his sister? Regardless, she smirked a bit. "Dave? What's so wrong about your sister that you have to hide? It's not like I'm going to bite you, or anything." She pulled a notebook and pen out of her back pocket, scribbling 'Dave Strider' neatly across the top. "Perhaps we need to have a chat."

Rose smiled slightly. "I know that, Jade. It is great to meet you in person. Internet friends can be such a hassle, so, I guess this get-together works quite well."

"Well, relatively, I guess," John added with a wry smile to himself. touching Casey's hand gently, he finished. "I mean, at least nobody's actually died yet."
