Why is it that every time I finish one of her books, especially the host, I feel so empty and sad?

Marisa Because a piece of your soul has just been ripped from your body.

Okay. I don't like that answer.

message 4: by Amy (new) - rated it 4 stars

Amy I think it is because we get attached to the characters and are sad to lose contact with them.

Marisa Okay lets try again. It's because the writing style is so terrible that you are left numb. Any better?

Uh...forgot you rated it 5 stars then? Or are you now a bandwagon hater?

I like Amy's answer. Way to go, Amy. Marisa, I don't mean it in a bad way. It's like a good hurt.

I did forget that I rated it 5 stars but since then I have reread it and now see it for what it truly is.

Maybe you better change your rating so you don't lose cred like you just did.

Marisa I just changed it actually. Thanks for the heads up though. At least now I won't be a "bandwagon hater."

That's good, then. And the writing, if a bit strange, was phenomenal.

Sierra Franklin I feel upset when I read the end to breaking dawn or the host. Breaking Dawn ending was a let down. It built up for nothing. the climax was basically a conversation in the woods. The host ended to be set up as a sequel which never came and may never come. Meyers herself said she might let the people who doing the movie come up withs its own fild sequels rather than keep going.
