message 1: by Hal (new) - rated it 4 stars

Hal Evergreen (hal_evergreen) | 2 comments When I add a new book to Goodreads, I don't get an "official URL" field. How to I add a URL for a book?

vicki_girl | 2764 comments Are you using the add new book form?

http://www.goodreads.com/book/new

The field is there for me.

However, if you copy the link here one of us can add it for you.

The URL is http://kate-islay.livejournal.com/tag... and the current Goodreads book page is here: In Allegiance. Thanks.

WIPs (except those with a contracted release date) really do not belong on Goodreads as books until they are complete.

The link you provide does not have that field when I go there. This shows in the Librarian’s manual as a field, but it's not there (a search for "link" returns "not found."

Thanks

Any user can add new books records, but only librarians can access the URL field.
