A Game of Thrones question

I hope he finishes before one of us dies.

I had to pick up the first book two or three times before I really got into it but after I did I never stopped until I was out of books to read and at that point almost felt like crying because I knew it would be so long for the next one to come out. I'm not even a huge fantasy fan either, although after reading Game of Thrones I am reading quite a bit more fantasy.

I've already read these books, but I'm seriously debating re-reading them since I enjoy them and the series on HBO so much.

The books are fantastic. I am about 75% through A Storm of Swords and it is an amazing book. Each POV Chapter leaves you with the desire to keep reading. Excellent books thus far.

I had never heard of Martin before the HBO series, but I am a fan of fantasy so I bought the whole collection plus others that he wrote and he is certainly the modern day Tolkien. Even if you are not a fan of 'reading' fantasy and just like the movies you should buy the books just to flesh out the characters in your mind. Awesome!

I'm on my 2nd go-round...just started number 4 again.

I just finished Clash of Kings and had trouble getting through the first half. Loved the second half though. I'm excited to start Storm of Swords, but I have to wait until I'm not flat, dead broke to go out and buy it.

i'm thinking of re-reading the whole series since i've to wait for book 6 :D

I am currently on book 5, does anyone know when book 6 is available?

I've read all the books so far and watched the series..which I think is great. Once you get one of the books in yor hands you don't want to put it down!

I really enjoyed this series and am waiting for the next.
They are all on my kindle so I always had them with me.
