Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1038 comments The only person I REALLY relate to is Peabody, since my family is old-fashioned like hers (although still not the same at all). But I think the best kinds of characters are ones you can relate to in little, less obvious ways. I think that's the way it is with me and most of the characters.

With Roarke and Eve? I mostly just admire them. They have been through hell and have dragged themselves up out of it. But I think it's what ties all the characters together that I really relate to, on a deeper level: their profound desire, not to make things RIGHT, because how can you, when someone has been murdered, but to do everything they can to bring justice to those left behind. Even the non-police side characters are this way, in subtler ways.

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 1070 comments I relate to Charolotte Mira in that she is more my age. I tend to be very accepting of people's differences and I am a calm influence on people.

To a certain extent, and especially when I was younger I could relate to Mavis. Not so much in her style of dress, but I have never really worried about what people think of me so I am apt to do or say anything, as long as it's not hurtful, that comes to mind.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1038 comments That's a good point, Miz. Eve's background is one I HOPE most people CAN'T relate to, so Peabody being a counterbalance is a good way to look at it, I think. I definitely worry about my weight and can't motivate myself to work out as much as I should... and can't turn down a pizza to save my life! I definitely couldn't knit a sweater though! ;) I also think she has an inner determination and grit that most women like to think they have or at least want.
