More than likely both covers are correct for the ISBN number, the publisher just updated the cover on the next printing/edition.If you can verify that the ISBN numbers are the same (and it sounds as though you have), you need to create an Alternate Cover Edition for your book and upload your cover to it. If you'd like, you can post your information about the book here and upload your scanned image (if you have one) to your profile and one of the librarians here can add the ACE for you.
vicki_girl uploaded the current image, so you might want to ask her if you think the image is incorrect.
Is there a need for a scanned image if there's already a perfectly good image on another edition here? Besides, you don't want a scan of my copy; it's far too well loved.
Krystal109: Now that Jennifer has explained to me what's going on, I'm fairly well convinced that it is correct, except perhaps for the exact publication date. The ISBN is the same for both editions, it seems.
Nope - we can use the already existing version. Please let me make sure I understand correctly:Your book has the ISBN 9780441653041, but the cover that is on the ISBN 9780425047569 that you linked to above. Is that correct? Also, the information for 9780441653041 pertains to your book as well (publisher, page numbers)? Can you also post the date your version was published?
My book has ISBN 0441653049. Since that is listed as being the same as 9780441653041, everything you said is correct. The publication date is July 1987. But since I'm a librarian myself, I was going to give it a shot.

What's going on here? Should I correct the cover? Well, obviously not until we've found an edition of the book that that cover actually goes to.
