anyway let me write down my answers and ill get back to everybody :D

Personally, I think the book would change drastically if it was in anyone else’s POV. Sorta like Crossed. I didn’t like reading in Ky’s POV because he seemed to know everything except on where Cassia was. I liked going on an adventure for the answers with Cassia. It makes a reader much more attached and interested if not all the answers are revealed right away. Plus we wouldn’t get the relationship between Cassia and her grandpa in the same perspective from Cassia (even if we got it in her Grandpa’s POV I don’t think I would have liked their relationship as much because he knew he was going to die. I mean everybody does but her grandpa knows that it’s wrong how they run the society and I think that’s why he decided to give the poem to Cassia. He knew she was a smart girl and would figure out what it meant.) It just wouldn’t be the same book. I liked going on the journey to find answers with Cassia. I liked that we got little clues before we got a definite answer about the big answers. It wouldn’t be as good as the actual book. Plus we can’t get the love for both Xander and Ky from anybody else except for Cassia. If we got it from Xander’s POV we would all hate Ky. If we got it from Ky’s POV we would all hate Xander. If we got in Cassia’s little brother’s POV (Why the little brother anyway??) we wouldn’t know who we liked better because we didn’t know how cassia herself felt. Yep that’s my opinion.
Question #2:
Now this one I’m going to have to think about. Okay, either my Alice in Wonderland book that I love a ton and my mom had when she was kid and got it from her grandma so its like.. 4 generations old.. Or my tiffany charm bracelet I got when I was 7 because it was my first new different country and continent move. So the Alice in wonderland book because, I would spend my days hiding out in my room or doing my activities quickly so I could continue to enter my own little wonderland inspired by the book itself. Plus then I would know that long ago people were freer to choose what they were allowed to do. That they wouldn’t have every decision made for them. (I actually really want to live in a place like that so then I can go against all odds and finally show the world that I’m more than another weird bookworm that spends her days in wonderland.) It might give me hope for more.
The charm bracelet because if I didn’t have any memories of the past I would be able to discover more about people’s culture. Since I have three flags on the charm bracelet, I would probably spend months just coming up with millions of ideas about them. Then since I have a dog charm on it, I would wonder why whoever used to have this bracelet would put some sort of animal on it. I would spend time thinking about what they might have done together or if the animal was good and kind or mean and bit people. (they sound ignorant XD) Wait I forgot… Do they have winter in The Society? Well if they do, then I would know that they had snow because there’s a charm of a snowflake on it. Then I would look at the two stoppers and wonder if they mean more. I would spend days daydreaming about the charms that the Society might take away the charm bracelet because I would get distracted from doing normal stuff because of it.
SO that’s that. I’m going to start drawing me doing stuff with them when I’m done answering question 3.
Question #3:
Well this isn’t very fair because I’ve read Crossed but… The green tablet makes someone calm/ brainwashed. The blue one kills you if you have more than one without any food or water. And the red one is supposed to make you forget.
She’s encouraged not to because her grandfather doesn’t want her to become a pawn in the Society. He wants Cassia to keep her own mind no matter what she goes through because the control over your own body is something beautiful that we take for granted every day. I know that once in a while I hate making decisions because I just… I don’t know… I just don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings. But we don’t thank the world for our freedom in choice. Cassia is urged not to take it so she can have as much freedom of choice and thought as she can. She might not be able to choose some things but she can choose how she feels if she doesn’t take the green pill.
OF COURSE IT PUTS THEM AT AN ADVANTAGE!! They are probably the best choices for spies for the rebellion or what’s the name… idk I forgot but anyway. It could always be dangerous for them but if they truly want to make a difference (Like Xander) then it’s great. As long as you keep up the act and pretend that the red pill works, you’ll be fine.
AND…. Im done. Woo! Okay that was fun. Now I’m going to go draw. Warning: I am sorry for my horrible drawing skills in advance XD Thanks for the questions Shakira! :D

I think they are interesting questions!
1. This was Cassia's story and her starting to question her world so it was perfect to be told from her pov. But i'm curious about Ky's story so hope to hear more of that in the next book.
2. My most precious possession is a book of memories my Gran wrote for me, but I'm imagining the society wouldn't allow that. So I suppose my charm bracelet that contains many memories.
3. I'm not sure about the tablets. I was curious about the red tablets and think it is a good set up for future plot that they are not effective on everyone.

2.I would take a pen. If I had a pen I could write my own stories.
3.the blue one is for surviving the green one is to keep calm and the red one is to forget. Cassia is encouraged not to take the green tablet because she cm survive without it.xander and ky are at advantage beacause they can remember all the bad things the society does.
Just thought I'd start with 3 questions on MATCHED. Sorry if they're boring!
1. Matched is told in the first person, how do you think the story would be different if someone beside Cassia told the story?
2. The society only allows citiznes to own one object from the past. If you were asked to select a single item what would it be? Why don't you try drawing it!
3. What is the purpose of the three emergency tablets each member of the society is required to carry with them? Why is Cassia encouraged never to take the green tablet. On Xander and Ky the tablets have a lack of effectiveness, in your opinion, does this put them at a advantage?
I AM SO SORRY IF THESE WERE BORING!!
Also try this
1. Create a book trailer for Matched. You can star people in it, or just pictures, music and writing!
2. Make your own soundtrack of music. Choose a favourite character, add about 6 songs that you think suits them. Then design a cover for the case!
Hope those sound fun
