Ahh - that makes sense. Thanks Michael.
Let's face it, I probably wouldn't have noticed if I'd already got loads of reviews, but the difference between one and two is 100%!
I've it sorted by default which only brings up 'interesting' reviews (according to the ?) To show all, it requires you to sort it via newest or oldest or something.I haven't seen this happen before, but maybe it'll just take a while for it update into making them both important.

Hi Elle - I've just had another look and can't see a facility for sorting reviews - where abouts is it please?
Under Community Reviews there are 3 options, Filter, Sort & Rating details.Hovering over them will let you click different options on how you view reviews. (Very handy for finding 1 or 5 star reviews on popular books)

That's really strange - I checked to make sure that the filter was set to 'all', but it didn't make any difference. When I changed the sort criterion though (to most recent) it picked up both reviews - it was obviously acting as an additional filter!!!
I can't pretend to understand why this works the way it does, and if everyone else's is set the same way (except those who like you know how it works) then presumably there must be a lot of reviews that never get seen.
Thanks Elle.
I think the algorithm only updates itself a few days a time so sometimes a review can take a while to show up under certain filters. I tried it on a few other indie books and the only one that had a hidden review was made only today. Luckily it doesn't seem to affect ratings though.
Really kind of you to spend time on it - thanks.I'll possess myself with patience and have a look in a few days.
if it doesnt appear then for you, i can always see if deleting and reposting it helps...thanks Elle for "liking" my review btw :)

That's very kind Kath - hopefully it will appear all by itself!
I think sometimes the server (or whatever it's called- where the internet lives) has to refresh and so the same people dont necessarily see the same thing at the same time.

Having canvassed some of our group members it seems that some can see both reviews but others (like me) only one of them.
Can anyone shed light on this please?
