Sam Claflin Cast as Finnick!
Wait... I thought Grant Gustin was playing Finnick.
Is it true? Because i recently checked imdb, Grant Gustin is still on the list although it was tagged as 'rumored' .. Is it official? :))
It says he's been offered the role, not accepted. He's not my perfect Finnick, though. I'm not sure what I think of him yet.
I'm expecting someone. I don't know if i'm disappointed or what. But well. Let's see

Ok maybe not officially unvielled but in the works. A bunch of the news sites are reporting it as a cinched deal...we will see I guess.

He is cute, but I don't really know how I feel about him yet. And because I have only seen him in Pirates I can't judge him on his acting abilities. I think they could have done a bit better, but they also could have done way worse.

I like him but he is not how i imagined Finnick to look like. He just doesn't look like the guy i pictured. I also heard another rumor that Zac Efron might play Finnick. And there in another thread saying Justin Bieber might play Finnick :P I think that Sam Clafin would play a better Finnick than Justin Bieber XP

I've never seen Sam Claflin act a more serious role than 'boy-falls-in-love-with-girl' so I'm looking forward to him playing Finnick (if this is actually true). Every actor needs a chance to show what they can do. I'm actually quite excited about his landing this role. :)Anyway, like I said before, he's fantastic and adorable.
I can't think of anyone who will be a perfect Finnick Odair. But I think Sam Claflin isn't a bad choice for the role. Isn't Grant Gustin a bit too young for the role?

I always imagined Finnick as a ginger but I like Sam in the role :)
They may dye his hair. They did good with Peeta's and Gale's.

Not what I pictured FINNICK to look like! If he is playing FINNICK then he better live up to it. I don't know who I want to play FINNICK but everybody they are picking is not who I expect. Better than that cursed name/person Justin bieber! *VOMITING*

I think he's terrible for Finnick :/I imagined him looking younger, and way more handsome.
i wasn't expecting him... i think he'll fit the part just fine... but he wouldn't have been my first choice..

I think he'd be a great finnick
I hope he dyes his hair like Josh Hutcherson did, because Finnick is supposed to have dirty blonde hair, right? I pictured him like that anyway.
Searched him up... he seems like a pretty good fit. Just a little tweaks by the stylist on his look and he'd be acceptable.
Suppose they will be dying his hair? And a tan? Other than that, I think he will do great, lol. He's got the face I imagined for this character, and build.

I think Grant Gustin would play Finnick way better but its up to the casting directors so lets see who they pick.
