My sister really enjoys gardening. I don't, but I enjoy eating the vegatables she grows. ;)

I only wrote a few short stories when I was younger and usually when I read them I'm actually pretty miffed that they were better than the stories I write now. Not a very good improvement I should say. :P

cool! I should probably do that but I'm to afraid of someone ever finding it so..."

I write a lot of things in either my journal or notebook that I would be so embarrassed if people read them, but my family never bothers to read it, even when I leave it lying around somewhere.

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) I'm probably just being paranoid! -.-

I used to never let anyone read my stories either.

message 505: by [deleted user] (new)

I left my journal wide open on the counter one time (I was around 12 or 13). I have no idea why I did that, must've been scatterbrained that day... Anyways, my mom read it. I got in SO much trouble that day... I've never kept a journal since then.

1. I love shoes, but I only have about ten pairs
2. My rabbit has been acting horrible lately
3. I'm an expert at making smoothies

Yeah, I used to be really freaked out about someone reading my journal (*sigh* slash diary...) but I kinda just had to get over it, or else I'd never have written anything! My friend (YES! I actually / finally have a friend! Kinda...okay yes. I don't know why it's so hard for me to accept the fact that I have a friend/close(ish) friend.) ended up reading an entry I made in my notebook filled with "story beginnings" (I didn't have an actual book to write in then and I was desperate!) and I ended up letting her cause there wasn't any information I wouldn't want anyone to see in it (although at first I did try to yank it from her grasp....yeah, that didn't work. Her words: "But I've already read a page! I can't stop reading in the middle of a story!" me: "It's not a story, it's my LIFE!".). I felt weird letting her read it because....my journal entries seriously sound like how I wrote in that entry she read! It was weird...she said I was "really funny and I feel like I know you better now!"

message 511: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) Yay! I'm glad you have a friend!!!! :D

message 512: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments mountainmist wrote: "Yay! I'm glad you have a friend!!!! :D"

Hahaha. Yeah, I am too!!! It's so weird, I used to really dislike her! I don't even really remember my reasons for not liking her! And she's a christian, so that's really nice... :D I've been hanging out with her a lot lately.

message 513: by [deleted user] (new)

My family would probably understand me a lot better if they read my notebooks, but... it's just so private.

I know what you mean! But....sometimes it's okay to share stuff with people. Of course, it doesn't have to be an entry you made in your diary, but even though I was kinda embarrassed to have someone read my writing, I also felt kinda...proud. Like that's my writing, and someone other than me actually likes reading it! And it's fun to share something like that (writing; like a story, or your LIFE haha, etc) with someone else :) .

message 515: by Jennah (new)

Jennah (strawberryblonde) If no one guessed #3 I pick that one then.

message 516: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments lol...I kinda forgot we were supposed to be playing the game! So....uh...I picked...oh. I never picked anything! Okay then....I'll pick 2 since mountainmist/Rachel already picked 1.

message 517: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) @Christal ~ who got it right?!?!?! :P

message 518: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 07, 2013 11:52AM) (new)

Jennah did, but she's gone now. :( I guess Ashley could take a turn sinc she guessed #2 and my rabbit's not acting horrible anymore.

message 519: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Lol, I forgot that this thread even existed O.o !
And sure I guess *shrugs*

1. I love having a kitten! (note: on chat thread...and this is too obvious isn't it?)
2. The kitten is very scared of the dogs
3. The other cat I own hates the new kitten

Sorry, I seriously don't really know what else to talk about!

message 520: by [deleted user] (new)

message 522: by [deleted user] (new)

I thought you loved kittens!

message 523: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Lol! I actually kinda made it sound like that didn't I?! Actually, I do not like "changes" when it comes to animals. Yes, the kitten is super cute. But also, it's a bit overwhelming to take care of it so much....I don't know, I feel like it's my responsibility or something. So...no, I don't love the kitten :P

message 524: by [deleted user] (new)

Awww, let me give the poor kitty a hug! *sends one on the breeze*

message 525: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments No you'll wake it up by hugging it! ;D

Well I wouldn't say it's a "poor kitty"; my sisters absolutely love it and play with it a lot. I'm kinda the only one in my family who isn't gah-gah over it.

message 526: by [deleted user] (new)

I want a kitten. :'( My mom's not keen on the idea though. Think I'll go to my friend's house and pick one out anyway and bring it home. :P
