Karen.s | 5 comments Mini book in Beersheva is interesting to browse through, because you might find "finds" you won't find elsewhere, but they are hardly cheaper than the chains. If there is any kind of sale the chains are cheaper and the book is new.

I am always amazed by Tzomet Sfarim in Big in Beer Sheva. They have quite an eclectic mix of books. However, I think they get one copy of something and when it's gone (if it's not a best-seller), they don't reorder. The drawback is that they only have a good sale once a year in February. Their other sale books almost never appeal to me or I've already read.

I too get almost everything as an ebook. They're cheaper than Israeli prices and I don't have to wait months. iPad and Nook have seriously cut off Steimatzky's profits from me!
