Remember wake

I won this book in a giveaway. I just got it but I am going to try and read it. It has blue on it's cover so it fits the July theme! It is about Wake Island during WWII. It gets attacked the same time as Pearl Harbor but it is really small so nobody really remembers it. The author (who is a very sweet lady and singed my copy of the book) actually based it off of a true person. The main character becomes a prisoner of war after the attack. I'll update this thread as I read more. I can't guarantee that I'll finish it this month because I have finals for summer semester at my college next week but I will try!
