Brenda Starling (weaselbee81) | 5 comments I am in desperate need of help with a title. I can't remember much about the book but I will try my best.

I know it is a historical romance. Almost positive it is set in England during one of the wars. The H, I think, is in the military and during part of the story he is with other military men in a military camp. The h is with him part of the time also. There was an attack at the camp and the h saw an enemy fixing to hurt/kill the H and so she shot the enemy. The H thought the h was aiming at him and got mad. The h went to the H to tell him that isn't how it was and the H shoved the h away. The h fell and hit her head and the H left her there. When she came-to she had amnesia. She wondered around until she found someone to help her.

This part I may be mixing up with another story but I want to say she may have been pregnant and she ended up having the baby while she still had amnesia. Or she may have had a miscarriage or the baby died. The H found out from his friend ( I think) that she was indeed aiming for the enemy and tried to find her. I believe the reason the H thought the h was aiming for him was because the h had thought the H had done something bad. She no longer believed this tho. The h's rescuers were either two older men or an older man and woman. They were very nice to her and didn't trust the H at first when he found her.

The h only has amnesia for a short time. It is not the theme of the book. Please, I really need the title to this book. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This looks like you are looking for a specific book. The best place for this post is in the Unsolved folder. More people are likely to browse there and read your post.

This General folder is if your were looking for a type of book -- for example, if you wanted a lot of books where the H and h have this kind of mix-up, with the H thinking the h was trying to kill him.

I'll go ahead and move this!

Welcome, then! This is a good site to find books. I've had several found, and two or three are still pending an answer. Good luck to you.

Hi Brenda. Don't worry, sometimes it can take several days to get a response back. If there's been no action after a couple of weeks, you can "bump" it back to the top of the list by making a small post -- like typing the word bump into the comment box.

I'm so glad you were able to track it down!

If you click the button "edit" next to the topic title of your thread, you will be able to change the folder to Solved. If you don't move it, I can do that for you.
