Silently Cleapsco calmed her down.

"How can you do that???" Silver asked feeling realxed and in control. "I think she's a mutant." Dylan whispered.

"I am." Cleapsco told them.

"I think he was being silly because we all are mutants..." Silver said. "But really how can you do that?" Dylan asked astonished.

Cleapsco shrugged. "I don't know."

"It's quite interesting..." Silver said scratching her scalp.

Valentine peered into the cave. "What's with all the yelling? I could hear you from like, twenty miles away."

Dylan and Silver looked at each other for a few moments and Silver finally said, "Fwit got taken away by someone who looks just like you... We're so sorry..." Dylan looked at the ground sadly and added, "We'll help you find her if you help us find Silver and Kyle's sisters."

Valentine sighed. "I hate those whitecoats!" She took off into the air, then glanced back over her shoulder. "Are you guys coming to help or not?"

Cleapsco flexed her wing. It felt worse than it did yesterday.

Valentine glanced at Cleapsco. "So your wing's injured?"

Cleapsco frowned. "Yeah."

"I could fix it temporarily. But then Fwit would have to come along and make it good as new. I don't know how long it would last, though." Valentine sighed, eager to get Fwit back, but not wanting to leave Cleapsco behind, and not wanting to take too much time.

Silver and Dylan looked at each other again. Both there eyes were filled with love though Silver's had a mix of confusion. Instinctivly they kissed. After moments of it Silver realized what she had done. She blushed and flew off with Valentine. Dylan looked at her knowing that it was too fast. He looked at Cleapsco to see if she would say anything.

A short burst of black light shot from Valentine's outstretched hand and wrapped around Cleapsco's wing, pulsing softly before melting in.

Cleapsco flinched slightly. In a few seconds, the pain was gone. She stretched out her wings, and followed Valentine.

Valentine's thoughts raced angrily as she headed for the School.

Silver not looking at Dylan followed Cleapsco. Dylan followed Silver thinking,I should say I'm sorry... But what did I do? I love her... Dylan looked at Silver with eyes telling everyone that looked at them what he was saying, 'I love her.'

Fwit buzzed around angrily in the little glass cage Karen had put her in.

"You should." Cleapsco told Dylan.

"Heh heh heh... So funny to watch mutants struggle." Alexander said evily. Alexander tapped the glass and said mockingly, "Hi little dot! We're gonna disect you! Won't that be fun?" Alexander laughed and walked away to his anilizations.

Dylan looked at Cleapsco surprisingly. I thought she hated us toghther... Dylan thought. "She's so wonderful... I'm never losing her." Dylan said to Cleapsco. Silver didn't hear them talking.

"Um, I heard that." Cleapsco referred to his thought.

[Jess]

"What!?!? You can read minds!?!?" Dylan whispered to Cleapsco. I like pie... Yum... Did you hear that!?!?! Dylan test thought to see if Cleaosco could. "Can you send people thoughts so we could communicate!?!" Dylan asked.

"If close enough, yes." Cleapsco explained.

"If close enough then what?" Silver came into the conversaiton. Dylan dared not talk to Silver. Does she hate me? Dylan thought.

Dylan looked at Silver with hope. He didn't need to tell Cleapsco thank-you because his face said it all. He looked at Clepsco and smiled.

Dylan took a deep breath and flew over to Silver and said, "Are you okay? You know about the... You know" Silver blushed and said, "Yeah." She smiled sweetly.

Karen frowned at Alexander. "Dissecting it might kill it. We want to clone it first, and dissect the clones."
