Anyone else still hate Sabine ?

Valeria It's obvious Vincent has tried hard to make Sabine more likable through the past two books but I'm just not buying it. I still hate her.

She's not as bad as she was in My Soul to Steal but I still wouldn't care if she died in the next book. I can't forget what she did to Kaylee in the fourth one : giving her nightmares, feeding from her when she slept, getting half naked and throwing herself at Nash, trying to sell Kay and Em to hellions. It was horrible and unforgivable.

She does a lot of favours for Kaylee and her friends in books 5 and 6 but it's always with herself in mind - like catching Mr. Beck in exchange for Nash when Kaylee dies. She claims to have Nash's best interests at heart but that's bullshit, Sabine puts her and her wants first every single time.

And why was she angry at Kaylee for breaking Nash's heart ? saying stuff like "you abandoned him", "how could you do that", "you hurt him". She was partly responsible for that so I don't know why she blames Kay for the trainwreck break up she helped to create. In fact, Sabine was very joyful when Kaylee kissed Tod. She wanted, from the very start, for Nash and Kay to be permanently broken. Sabine is a scheming, two faced bitch. I know it's awful to say but I do hope she dies - or at least leaves and never comes back.

Christina Ly I honestly don't care if she died. I dislike her with a deep passion, just like how I dislike Nash with a passion. Those two belong together simply because of how idiotic and in denial they are.

Sabine might act like she knows everything in the world, but at the end of the day she's just a teenage brat with the idea that the world belongs to her, and if she can't control everyone or at least affect their life somehow, her life is not complete.

I mean seriously, she acts as if its her problem that Kaylee is dating Tod, and that they slept together. Like who does she think she is, Kaylee's mom? Obviously not. And it's obviously not her problem if Kaylee sleeps with Tod, or if she sleeps with like a million different guys. But no, Sabine marches over to Kaylee (like she has all the right in the world too) and demand Kaylee to reveal to Nash that she slept with her brother. First off, Nash and Kaylee are not dating, and second it's Sabine's fault for not being able to keep Nash by her side.

She's simply blaming everything on Kaylee, and thinks that as long as Kaylee tells Nash that she had sex with Tod, Nash will forget about her. Sabine has been like this the moment she shows up. She finds some kind of fault in Kaylee and magnifies it, then when things are beyond her control she goes to ask Kaylee to clean it up. I hate her guts.

Sara I agree with you, but I do like Sabine because she is a nutty B*ch! I think Kaylee needs to grow a pair and tell Sabine off! She only wants Kaylee to tell Nash because he's a P*Y who would hate Kaylee if he found out She and Todd had sex. Sabine and Nash are perfect for each other a delusional nut and a total loser!

Valeria Oh yeah, I forgot the whole Tod and Kaylee sex thing. I wanted to throttle Sabine during that scene. Like, who the hell does she think she is, telling Kaylee that's it's Nash's business if she sleeps with Tod ? It's not her business or his either, it's just Sabine trying to pull Nash and Kaylee even further apart because Sabine would benefit from it and that's all she cares about.

I've hated Nash since the third book but think him and Kaylee should get over each other in their own time without Sabine charging in and trampling over what's left of them.

Christina Ly Agreed, I seriously doubt she even cares about Kaylee (which she probably never did), she only cares about how Kaylee can benefit her. She should just let the relationship progress as it should. She's trying to push him and Kaylee to become pretty much enemies.

Sara Totally off topic. Was everyone happy when Kaylee finally did have sex with Todd?! I know I was

Valeria Sara wrote: "Totally off topic. Was everyone happy when Kaylee finally did have sex with Todd?! I know I was"

Defo! Though I kept waiting for them to be interrupted because in YA couples ALWAYS get interrupted before the sex scene. For some reason authors almost always wimp out of sex scenes. So I was very surprised - and very very happy - that Tod and Kay did it.

Christina Ly Sara wrote: "Totally off topic. Was everyone happy when Kaylee finally did have sex with Todd?! I know I was"

I was definitely happy. I felt like Tod waited for her this whole time without pushing her...whereas his brother...well there's not much I can say about him.

Ferdy I hate Sabine for being such a self rightous, crazy hypocrite. The only time I actually liked her was when she put Sophie in her place in BIW. To be fair, I've begun to hate most of the characters. Nash is just a self centred, whiny brat that everyone makes excuses for. If Kaylee did half the things Nash did and got drunk, took drugs and insulted everyone she'd be crucified but Nash gets away with it because he's a guy and he's hurting..ugh.

Sophie's just a cow who only cares about herself, I don't know what Luca sees in her. Kaylee's dad is awful, swanning back after 13yrs of abandonment like everything's a-ok. The guy preferred to emotionally scar his daughter for life by committing her to mental asylum rather than have to tell her the truth - why didn't he tell her?? what purpose did it serve? she was bound to find out eventually seeing as she would age very slowly. And Kaylee just lets everyone walk all over her and lets everyone blame her for every little thing.. I wish she'd stick up for herself more instead of being a bloody martyr.

Sabine and Nash are the worst though, both are losers who like to make people feel guilty but they expect everyone to understand and get over all the bad things they've done. Why would Kaylee even be friends with Sabine after she tried to get her killed just because she deigned to date Nash?? If someone tried to kill me because I was dating someone they wanted.. I wouldn't EVER be friends with them, especially if they showed no remorse and acted like what they did was completely reasonable. It's just stupid that Kaylee's friends with a sociopath like Sabine.

I hate Nash's hypocrisy, he has a go at Kaylee for falling in love with Tod but he should understand that people can't help how they feel since he himself loves two girls!! I hated how he got mad at Kaylee for sleeping with Tod, he had no right especially when he was happily sleeping with Sabine - the guy wants it all. Sanine and Nash will both will probably run off into the sunset together in the last book..ugh.

Agree with every point you said, but I'm waiting for them to run off into the sunset together or maybe be killed off so they would leave everyone else alone.

I'm hoping they get killed off or at least one of them does. I doubt it though, I've read in a few blogs what Vincent thinks of Nash and Sabine..and she writes about how their misunderstood and flawed when to me they comes across as vile and selfish.

Christina Ly I really don't want to try to understand the complex and manipulative mind of Sabine at all. I so dont understand why the author likes her, she's a total biatch. And I don't really agree that they are misunderstood, it's more like they are misunderstanding other people's good intentions. Nash doesn't understand his brother regardless of what he did and didnt do. Sabine misunderstands everyone because she's just like that.

So overall I find them not that misunderstood. For misunderstood I rather say Sydney and Adrian from Bloodlines

Valeria I don't get this "misunderstood" bullshit either. What a lame excuse. Enjoying feeding from people's nightmares and attempting to sell people to demons doesn't mean you're misunderstood, it means you're a crazy psychopath. I don't understand how people in the book are comfortable knowing that. Realistically, they'd have tried to shoot her if she appeared on their porch.

Kashi12;p I totally agree with pretty much all of the comments, i think Sabine is a ridiculously self centred, know-it-all, attention seeking little cow! I used to like Nash but he's kinda annoying me now. But i think NAsh and Kaylee should have a really nice, friendly kinda reminiscing moment in front of Sabine just to piss her off.

Agree, they should, but I don't want Tod feeling like Kaylee is missing Nash.

Kashi12;p Yeah neither do i but they should just do it in a friendly way. Or just include Tod and talk about what it was like before Sabine came to town.

Kate sabine is okay but kayle has a hard time hating anyone and nash is friends with sabine and she's friends with nash and even sophie is being nice now!! i mean come on you can't hate her forever cause she is actually being nice!!!

Allison I guess I'm just weird but I actually like Sabine. She is different in that funny sort of way, and I apologize for saying this, but I cannot stand Kaylee. She is so annoying, so Sabine's dislike for Kaylee made my day. Plus, who doesn't love the crazy psychotic mean girl who adds color to the story?

Sabine is alright i think she just has different ways of doing things then the others mostly for her own benifit but she is a total pain and the ass and i can see why most people didn't like her, i didn't to begin with when she first arrived just for Nash and did what she did but i think she has grown on me since the last book was released now that Kay is with Todd, Sabine seems alright now

Nhi Lâm I love Sabine endlessly. She is totally my ideal type of a hero. She is fierce, bad-ass, brutally honest but she is vulnerable, sensitive too (if you read Kiss Me Deadly and Niederwald, you will see). And I completely support Nash and Sabine. Yeah you guys are right, they are two messed up individuals and idiots. That's why they are so perfect for each other. Nash can see what's right and what's wrong when he is sober. Sabine has an amusing perspective on everything. They make a perfect couple in my opinion :D

Lisa Love Sabine was okay towards the end books, I didn't like the way she always tried to humiliate Kay all the time and constantly gave her crap but hey I suppose that's just her nature. I liked that she tried to break Nash and Kay up in the 4th book because I wanted Kay to get with Todd and was thrilled when it finally happened. Sabine might seem like a bitch but sometimes I feel like that's a front because of what she went through in the past she doesn't like to reveal her vulnerable side and we do get glimpses of that in the final books mostly when it comes to Nash. The one thing that irritated me the most about her though was that she blamed Kay for Nash's addiction which was completely uncalled for because that was all down to Nash, it was his decision to take that crap. However, she was not a bad character and is loyal to her friends all the way.

Nhi Lâm I have to disagree with you on if Kaylee was responsible for Nash's addiction. First of all, she popped that freaking balloon in front of his face. I MEAN HIS FACE. Then when he had the addiction, Kaylee just chickened out and ran away from him. I know that Nash lied and did bad things to get high, but Kaylee did involve in Nash's addiction. That's my opinion :D

:)Although I disagree I can't argue with some of that! Although after everything he did to her I can't blame her for not wanting to be around him while he recovered.

Lizi So... I love to hate Sabine. She's the perfect evil chick! That's the author's point. She wants you to hate her. So you do. I do like her trying to build an odd relationship between Kay and Sabine because they are so totally different. It's interesting. But also think of other similar characters in the entertainment world (i.e. Paris and Rory in Gilmore Girls), you don't want them to get along because it's too much fun to loathe a fictional character. Yes, the whole Nash thing is irritating. But you also have to imagine you are stuck with this motley crew whether you like it or not so... what else are you going to do? It's a fascinating dilemma. Everyone would make their own choices and that's what makes you want to read more. To see if they end up doing what you predicted or not.
