As we estimate our collection at at least 600 books, being able to add/edit/merge/combine where necessary would really come in handy. We would also like our shelves to show the correct editions of all our books, which ISBN-scans rarely account for. It would just be far easier to do that ourselves =).
Cait,
Thank you for that, I'm going to give a full reboot of modem/router/switch a try, and if that does not work (which I doubt it will) I will try mailing support a go.
Thanks for the prompt reply, both of you. =)

OOps! Correct, I looked only at the number by the Read shelf, thinking it was All.

I'm not really eager to add all my books to my shelves (they're sorted a to z by author) only to have to go over them all again to add the ones missing ;). Hence why I've only added sufficient books to be allowed to apply.
Anyways, thanks again all :).
Recently I was recommended GoodReads by a friend, and immediately I forwarded the site to my flatmate. We had been looking for a website where we could keep track of our (for students especially) very extensive book collection.
So we made our profiles, downloaded the smartphone app, and started scanning ISBNs. After half an hour we realized that many books and editions were not in the GoodReads database, so we both decided to apply for Librarian status so that we could add the missing books ourselves.
Here we ran into a problem. After clicking the "Apply Here" button, reading the Librarian Manual, and clicking on "Apply" we both get a blank screen. Now we have no clue if the application has been sent. We do not wish to spam the moderator by trying several dozens of times, but since our living-room floor is currently covered front-to-back in piles of books that need to be sorted and cataloged...
Has anyone had this problem before? Any idea on how to work around this?
