I need help from a reader of this book!

Amanda I read A Discovery of Witches some time ago, and I pre-ordered and received my copy of Shadow of Night. I usually like to find a summary of a book before I read the next in the series to refresh my memory concerning characters and major plot lines. I cannot seem to find a good one anywhere! There is a serious lack of solid info on this book! No Wiki summary?! I remember most things about the book, but I'd love it is someone could hit me up with a character list (or any other random tidbits you'd think worthy).

If there's a web site that I'm missing, that might serve my purpose, I would appreciate an address, as well!

I borrowed the first book, so I don't have my own copy, FYI.

Thanks!

Try this for a list of who's who from the first book.

Amanda You are a hero, my friend. Thank you.

Nic This might sound silly but get a copy and read it again you pick up so much more detail the second time around and shadow of nights picks up exactly where the first one left off

Lissa In case you haven't discovered it yet, there is a list of characters in the back of Shadow of Night. I'm almost finished and I'm LOVING it!

Amanda Ahhhhh. I never look at the end of the book until I'm done, so I wouldn't have even noticed! Interesting. Thanks!

Thanks. I was looking for a summary as well and couldn't find one. I have my copy of the first book but have so many others to read right now.

Barbara I had to just read it again and I was glad I did. There is so much that goes on in these books! I actually liked it better the second time too!

AGREE! Or for a super quick refresher, listen to it on audio.

Al I found that I very quickly caught up with characters in Shadow of Night. Of course, I only finished a Gathering of Witches about a month or two ago.
Ditto on character list in back of book.

Are you kidding me? Even on audiobook, the book is obnoxiously long.

Mark Hjayson I love your book:)

Al Whole series ties together wonderfully. After reading the first I could not wait for the next and then the next. Good characterization, fantastic descriptions of the world the characters move in and a fun read.

For The Love of Books I bought and read the first two books long before the last one was released so I ended up reading the A Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night again. I'm glad I did that because I didn't realize how much detail I had forgotten. :-)

Susan White-Riggs Does anyone feel as I do, that there is going to be a continuation of this storyline?

I just re-read "A Discovery of Witches" prior to reading "Shadow of Night". Both books are a little long, but it helps to know what's going on. OTOH, since the settings of each novel are very different -- if you remember who the main characters are, it's OK. (There is a list of characters in the back of "Shadow of Night").
