Since the goddesses couldn't decide among themselves and Zeus wasn't willing to suffer the wrath of the females in his family, the goddesses appealed to Paris, son of King Priam of Troy. They asked him to judge which of them was the most beautiful. Paris judged the goddess of beauty to be the loveliest. In return for his verdict, Aphrodite promised Paris the fairest woman. Unfortunately, this fairest mortal was Helen of Sparta, wife of Menelaus. Paris took the prize that had been awarded him by Aphrodite, despite her prior commitments, and so started the most famous war in history, that between the Greeks and Trojans.

Personality: Apollo is honest to the point where he has never lied once in his life. He's extremely over protective and loves his family dearly. He is very prideful and will go to great lengths to prove his worth. In general, he's the epitome of the carefree youth and though he can be quite cruel, he usually takes the bitterness of life with good humor. He is an eager and fierce warrior and when he fights, it is with honor and without mercy.
Apollo is also know for being quite the philanderer and has broken many a heart; for Apollo may love and that love may be great, but that love will never become true love - strong and everlasting. Due to the heartbreak he has dealt out and received, Apollo is wary of entering a lasting relationship.

History: The story of Apollo begins with his mother, Leto, and her attempt to give birth to him and Artemis. Hera, in her jealousy, had pursued Leto relentlessly. Leto searched for a place where she could give birth to the children without Hera finding her. She convinced the island of Delos to be the home of Apollo, saying that a temple would be built there. Leto waited nine days and nights to give birth to Apollo, because due to Hera’s rage, Eilithyia, the goddess of childbirth, was not able to come to Leto’s aid. Finally Iris was sent to Hera, offering her a necklace fifteen feet long. In this way Eilithyia was able to come to Delos, and when she did, Leto gave birth to Apollo.
Shortly after birth Apollo searched for a place to build a temple. This leads Apollo to Krisa, where nearby he encounters a giant snake, the Python, and kills it by emptying his entire quiver of arrows into the snake. The land where this occurred was thereafter known as Pythia. To keep this feat well remembered, Apollo sanctioned games known as the Phythian games, where men would box, wrestle, race, and participate in other sporting games.
As well as being the god of soothsaying, of music, and of nature, his love affairs with the Nymphs and the young people who became flowers and trees linked him intimately with plant growth and Nature. Apollo was also a warrior god who could, like his sister Artemis, bring a swift and easy death from afar with his bow and arrows. Together they took part in the massacre of Niobe’s children to avenge the honor of Leto. Apollo brought down on the Greeks before Troy a plague that decimated their army, in order to compel Agamemnon to return to his priest Chryses the young Chryseis who was still held in captivity. He also slew the Cyclopes, the snake Python and the giant Tityus. He took part, on the side of the Olympians, in their struggle against the Giants. In the Iliad we find him fighting for the Trojans against the Greeks and protecting Paris, and his involvement (whether direct or indirect) eventually led to the death of Achilles.
Certain animals were especially dedicated to Apollo: the wolf, which was sometimes sacrificed as an offering to him, and which is often depicted together with him, on coins; the roebuck or hind which also plays a part in the cult of Artemis; among birds the swan, the kite, the vulture and the crow, whose flight could convey omens. Among sea creatures there was the dolphin, whose name recalls that of Delphi, home of the main shrine of Apollo.

History: Misaki was found at the door steps of Mike Jordan's house as a baby. She was in a Basket with a baby Blanket. Not crying at all, she was just a few days old. Mike couldn't just leave the baby there he wanted to put up flyers for a lost baby, but then realized how stupid that sounded and he ended up just taking care of her his own. Misaki is a Japanese name meaning beautiful blossom. Misaki grew up without knowing whom her Mother. Misaki knew she was different from the rest of the kids. She never fit in with anyone and all the kids would always tease her. But someday she will find a place where she fits in.

Family: She is the middle daughter of Cronus and Rhea. Persephone
Goddess of: fertility, agriculture, nature, the seasons, sanctity of marriage, the sacred law, and the cycle of life and death

History: Demeter was swallowed upon her birth by her father Kronos along with
Hestia, Hades, Poseidon and Hera, who were later saved by Zeus in order to help defeat the Titans. After the war, both Zeus and Poseidon tried to marry her, but Demeter instead devoted herself to her duties as the goddess of the harvest. Though Zeus was married to Hera, Demeter had a relationship with him that resulted in a daughter, Persephone. Though the affair ended, Demeter was very happy as she had a beautiful daughter all to herself. Persephone grew up without want, always staying close to her mother and sharing some of her power over the earth.
Demeter is most notable for the abduction of Persephone by Hades. One day while Hades was outside of The Underworld he saw Persephone picking flowers and fell in love with her instantly. Hades confided this secret to his brother Zeus, where the two then began devising a plan where they would trap her. One day while Persephone was playing with her companions the earth beneath her split open. When she slipped beneath the earth Hades took her and made Persephone his wife.
Demeter came to find her beloved daughter missing and began an epic tale of searching for the young goddess, even said to have told the earth to not reproduce until the girl was returned to her. Helios, the sun god who sees everything eventually told her of what happened. Zeus, seeing the hunger and anguish of the mortals eventually forced Hades to return Persephone.
Hades complied with his brothers wishes but before Persephone was taken back up by Hermes, (The only god besides Persephone and Hades known to come and go as he pleased) was given a kernel of Pomegranate. Since she ate six of the seeds she must stay within the Underworld for six months out of the year since the Fates decreed that anyone who ate or drank in the underworld must live there for all eternity. As a result, Demeter falls into a depression six months out of the year which is when the earth experiences fall and winter.
