City of Bones
question
What do you think makes guy characters so hot/attractive?
Sometimes I feel like people like them just because they're in the story. They like them whether theyre cold and uncaring, kind and thoughtful, funny and entertaining, or bold and courageous etc

The attractiveness of a male character besides his appearance is, in my opinion, largely influenced by their confidence, humour, and vulnerability. Some characters may have this façade that makes them look like nothing phases them, but its those moments that disguise breaks and they show their true feelings and vulnerabilities that really get to me as a reader.
I think people assume all characters are hot. Even if the author says they're ugly or average, it's like people think it's a typo.
People will find a character attractive no matter who they are. I personally like when they are mysterious, sarcastic, and socially awkward... Hotness is also a factor at play....

Moody, unpredictable,Sometimes caring sometimes not, mysterious, bad temper, bossy, sarcastic, quiet, athletic, genius, not sensitive with other feelings
I like when the author makes him a reader. When the male lead spouts random quotes or lines from different classic books is really what makes me like him. But it also has alot to do with their persona and the way they think about themselves.
boldness and sarcasm and being cold and not caring. basically being dark and mysterious
