The Host
question
Is there anyone who would have liked this book to be from Jared's perspective?

I absolutely loved this book, but at some points while reading I would have liked to have known Jared's thoughts on the subject. For example, (spoiler) when Melanie becomes herself again at the end of the book, I would have liked to have known his reaction and his feelings towards the change. Does anyone else feel this way?

I think it would just be too difficult to deal with the 2 souls in one body thing if the point of view/narrator wasn't one of those souls. From Melanie's point of view may be interesting as well.
I think it may have been interesting if the point of view shifted between Wanderer, Mel, & Jared... But a lot would have been missed if it was just from Jared's p.o.v.
I think that it may have got a bit confusing if we were reading Wanda, Melanie and Jared's point of view, but it is an interesting thought. I do think that Jared may not be able to show all the aspects of the story that Wanda and Melanie do.

plus if it was only from Jared's, Mel, and Wanda. id also want Ian to have one to. and that would just get waaaaaaaay to confsing for us all. so i think they should stick with Mel's and Wanda's and leave it at that. although i have to say i do wonder what goes on in Jared's head somtimes. humm.
