I just started with The Hookup by Kristen Ashley
So far not very impressed by the pointless conversations between the characters, the over descriptive details, f-bombs and the same old stroyline. Hope it gets better, not sure though.

If you took the awesome plot of this book and mix it with the sex scenes from "The Woman Left Behind" you would have the perfect book.
I finished WOMAN LEFT BEHIND. Ugh. What has happened to LH’s writing style?

It's got to be hard after having written so many other great books. I can't begin to imagine what goes on their heads. I agree this wasn't her best but I will still continue to read her.
I’ll reread the old ones, and a couple more recent...I liked Burn, Running Wild, and Veil, etc. I know other fav authors of mine go “off the track,” so I won’t do autobuys as I used to of LH’s works.
That is why I just don't buy a book unless My Goodreads friends have read and liked it. Luckily, I've only found a few authors that I can't get through the library and they are well worth spending my tight-fisted money on.
My list of authors I buy/preorder from is about down to 1 ..Rosalind James...these days. I used to preorded books by Rachel Gibson, LH, Susan Andersen, Robyn Carr. No more. I’m about to start Crossing Promises

I love this book. It is one of my favorite Nora Roberts books and I have been a fan ever since. It was made into a Lifetime movie that wasn't bad, but not as good as the book.
There is quite some debate about the movie over in the Nora Roberts Groupies discursion group. I remember liking the movie, but it's been a while since I saw it. The book was wonderful, everything that makes me want to read Nora Roberts.

Robin Pilcher’s An Ocean Apart. Not my usual genre.. 500 pages ! and i can’t believe i am almost through having only skipped one dry “business” chapter. Learned some “British-isms” :) from this one....
Main character, David, is a 44 year-old grieving widower with three kids.

I have read this and some of the others in the series. I recall not liking this one as much as the later ones, but still a good series.

I was at the library today and saw The Devil In Pew Number Seven
. It kind of looked interesting so I am starting it. Not typically a book I would read, but we will see
