If you could change anything in a book you have read what would it be?

I have read some books where I wanted to question the author why did they do a certain thing. Has anyone else felt like that? Those parts in the book that you want to change so badly and really wish it would be put in your favourite book. Share them if you want, it makes it better when you get your anger out. :)

Book/Series: Frostbite, Vampire Academy By Richelle Mead

I really really really wish they hadn't killed Mason!!! There was so much she could have done with his character like she did with Eddie.I have read a lot of fanfictions where Rose's, Eddie's and Mason's friendships are shown and it makes me really sad that Rose lost such a good friend.

Calla choosing Shay over Ren!!! Come on, I hate Shay. He doesn't even come close to what Ren is. When the author decides to kill Ren, I just couldn't digest that. Why would she do that?!! I loved Ren and so does a lot of the readers, its team Ren all the way.
