"Oh Cole dont do that." She smiled fondly at her brother and pulled him away."I live about 3 hours away, on the outskirts of town, are you sure your up for the challenge of walking with a mildly moody 2 year old and a hot tempered teenage girl?" She said the last part with a bit of humour, she knew she had issues with her emotions, but wasnt going to change for nobody.
Maybe if he did walk home with her they would get to know each other a bit better.
"Pff...Walk? Three hours? I think not." Rick said before smiling, "I've got a car if you don't mind riding with complete strangers. That ...." he thought for a moment "My Moms an elder I could have her find someone to take you home if you like." The town was pretty safe but still, getting into a car with a complete stranger....hard to exsplain that away.
Trent adjusted his mask very slightly as he looked at her. "Uh well I only just realised I was wondering why all the masks seemed so girly." He said as he looked back down at the masks, fingering one with sequences. "Its not for me though but me friend." He said gesturing over at Rick.
"Well as long as your not some axe murderer out to kill innocent girls and toddlers then i think i would be happy if you drove me back."The same smile as before made her lips curve again.
Cole was beggining to get restless so she began her swaying motions again, trying to settle him down.

"I swear I do not kill with axes" Rick said smiling. "If you'll wait just a moment I'm gunna let Trent know I'm heading out" he said as he went over to Trent. "Hey Trent I am off to be a good person." He smiled at Elli "I'll see ya around"
Trent was laughing at the fact he could very well imagine Rick wearing something like this because of his mother. However he was a little surprised at Rick's words. "Uh ok. What do you mean go off and be a good person, you make it sound like your going to have a personality transplant man." He chuckled.
Haven ran her spare hand through her golden locks. What was she supposed to say. She hadnt really been put in a situation where she would actually have to talk to people,well she didnt have to talk to him but it would be rude not to. Just continue with what your doing, she thought carefully. He seems kind enough, i mean the guy is giving you a ride home for goodness sakes.She waited for Rick to return so they could head off.
Cole began to start whimpering, and she knew that meant he was going to have one of his crying fits soon. Clearly he was tired and in need of one of his naps, but she didnt want to leave the shop without Rick in case that was considered rude.

Elli hide her smile during htis exchange, she and Rick sort of knew each other but she couldn't thinkn of anything to say, and every moment she was imagining him in this silly girls mask ans she didn't think she would be able to talk straight.
Haven looked over as he explained why he was leaving. She would have to repay him in some way, she barely knew him let he was willing to give up looking for a mask to take home a girl he barely knew. Either he really couldnt stand toddlers or he was a genuinly nice person and so far Haven had decided that he was the latter.
Trent smirked and looked over at Haven and gave a friendly smile. "Sure man, see you back at the ball later then." He said patting him on the shoulder. "Be careful man." He said watching him, still thinking about seeing Rick in a a girls mask. He was trying so hard to keep a straight face.
"No worries." Rick said and with a wave of his hand he headed out. "All set?" he asked Haven. "Oh before we go, did you need something here? Seems shame to waste a trip." he exsplain hopping he was not coming off as too creepy.
"Nah, ive already got all my stuff set for the ball, but thanks for asking anyway, im ready to go when you are." She replied, hoping she didnt sound to preppy and squeaky.
Trent burst out with a soft laugh, sighing as he turned back to Elli. "So is this your first time going to the ball or are you a regular?" He asked as he looked over at the mens masks. He wondered if he should get a mask for Rick or not.

Trent smiled. "Oh I've been going for a least for five years in a row." He said as he looked around, glancing at her. "Oh uh yeah I dunno, he might go home and get a new one." He said shrugging softly.

"I'll drop it off at his house later, Iwonder if I should leave a note." She was so happy and her smile showed it, making her face glow.
Trent laughed softly and shook his head as he watched her grab a mask and run off to buy it. It has to be the sparkly one. He was going to enjoy this if Rick actually wore it. He went over to her. "Don't leave a note, he'll know other wise. DO you think he's really going to wear it?" He asked.
Elli laughed, "I have no idea, but if he diesn't I can always come by and ask him for it back. Oh I wish I could set up a camera in his house. To see his reaction I mean, not to like psy or....well...stuff liek that or whatever." Pink rose to her cheeks as she stammered out and exsplanation.
