█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) Isabeth looked at her dress. "Oh, um. Nothing." She lied. And looked away at a dress on a hanger in front of her when he somewhat tugged off the mask. She ran the dress around in her hands. Why did he do that? Doesn't he know he can get in trouble? She thought, trying to look like she was interested in the dress. But the act wasn't exactly working.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin raised an eyebrow. "Then why. . . . ? Never mind." A smirk turned up the corner of his lips. It was obvious she was uncomfortable that he'd taken his mask off, not that he could really understand why. Sweetheart, we're Elders. Who's gonna tell us what we can and cannot do? The thoughts were aimed at her, even if she couldn't hear them. "Okay then, good luck with the shopping." The store's lights were driving him a little insane and it was clear Isa wasn't Cethin's biggest fan. "See ya around." He turned, slipping the mask back on before walking toward the door.

Jaidyn ((Blythe is still in the same pose out front...))

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) Isabeth wanted to say. Wait! Don't leave.. But then she'd seem desperate. She hated being desperate. Isabeth was everything but. She didn't want to be just another girl. It was obvious he got girls all the time. She wouldn't be that girl. She'd be that special girl, the first girl that rejected him. She looked up, at his leaving form. But didn't move her head.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin was already slipping through the doors, his mask back on concealing half his face. Elementals glanced over at him, catching longing glances and little giggles. He smirked before his eyes went back to Blythe. "Didn't I tell you to go live a little, Sparky?" He crossed his arms before walking over towards where she was sitting next to the flaming dress. When his eyes landed on the ruined material, the fire instantly went out. "Find you're mystery guy and show each other a good time?" He cocked a brow, sounding like a parent scolding their child.

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) When Isabeth knew he was gone, just by the cling of the door. She exhaled. Why did she care so much about a Fire Elemental Elder? It's not like he cared. The boy had girls crawling all over him all the time. Why would he think any different for me? She thought. And pulled down a dress. She went into the changing room. And didn't care to look in the mirror. When she left, the wind scratched at her skin. And this time, she didn't look at Cethin. To be honest. She looked stunning.

(view spoiler)

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) ((:D Awkward! XD))

Me, Myself, and I Cethin turned his head away from Blythe, catching sight of a figure decked out in all white. His different color eyes blinked from behind the mask in obvious surprise when realizing it was the Water Elder. He'd thought he dress before was nice, but this? His compliment from before seemed incompetent at best, now. He ran his fingers through his chestnut colored hair as people walked past them on the boardwalk, chatting amongst themselves.

message 59: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe slapped her hand to her forehead. "Nope. Well, I found him. But he currently seems to have taken a liking to a freaking Water Elder. So I'll see you at home, in twenty nine days." She snapped, stomping the fire out and diggin her finger nails into her skin. It was bad enough she liked him, but the competition? Really? Blythe's eyes flamed as she left burn marks in the wood where her footprints had been.

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) ((O.o Isabeth hates competition too Blythe!:3))

Isabeth heard Blythe's comment her head snapping over. "He.." She paused, astonished. Cethin did NOT like her. That was obvious. Why would she say such a thing? Like Isabeth said, Cethin could have ANY girl he wanted. Isabeth wouldn't be a one night girl. She shot a glance at Cethin, not exactly wondering what happened.

Me, Myself, and I (Poor Cethin. He's just an innocent womanizer.)

Cethin blinked in obvious surprise over Blythe's outburst. Annoyance flickered in his different colored eyes: She knew the type of guy he was, so none of this should be coming as a surprise to her. And he was her mystery guy? When the hell had that happened? He'd always assumed she simply tolerated him. Because she had to. But just barely. And attacking Isabeth like that? Damn this whole thing. Whipping around, he grabbed a girl passing by without giving her more then a glance, spinning them both around so she was pinned against the side of a building. Kissing her hard, obvious anger rippled off him in heavy waves. Almost as if he were daring anyone to get too close. The girl didn't seem to mind much, though.

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) Isabeth turned away. Walking off with her head lung low. How had I been so stupid!. She thought Falling for the boy who dates any girl! She was running now. Fighting back the tears. The stupid tears. She barely knew Cethin. No, she did know his story. But not the real him. The other girl might. She stood no chance. No chance at all. She ran until she was at the dock. Sobbing underwater.

message 63: by Me, Myself, and I (last edited Jul 21, 2012 05:55PM) (new)

Me, Myself, and I (Awwh ! D': Poor Isabeth- that's just how Cethin responses to anything too tough for him to handle.)

Cethin heard the sound of heels clipping against the boardwalk's wood as it picked up speed, but he didn't bother lifting his head from the girl. He was sort of throwing himself into the feeling, turning off his brain to keep from thinking. Why the hell are they surprised? He'd made sure, made absolute sure, that every and all girls understood what he was like. That he didn't do the whole 'relationship' shit. It wasn't in his DNA- staying with one girl would be going against everything he was.

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) ((Hehe, Isabeth knows it. But she still has feelings for him. Its hard to explain. She just does:3))

Jaidyn ((-.-))

Blythe angrily stalked into a dark alley and slid down the brick wall of the building she was leaning against. She had nothing to say nor think about anything relating to Cethin. It wasn't fair! She knew him first, and for hundreds of years at that!

message 66: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn ((Um...Blythe is over two hundred years old and she IS an Elder.))

message 67: by Ash (last edited Jul 21, 2012 10:06PM) (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) Ziv breezed into the store, moving with a graceful walk that somehow suited her... Well she tried to, but only ended up getting to the front door and crashing into a random display and sending half a dozen boxes smashing to the floor. A low blush settled on her cheeks, painting her pale skin a delicate shade of pink. Her mouth formed a small "Oh!" of surprise and she dropped to the ground, trying to pick everything up at once and ending up dropping it all three seconds later.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin looked over in time to see a girl, one who'd seemed to be very capable of walking perfectly fine on her own, collide with a stack of boxes outside. Masks tumbled out from them, trailing over to his feet. The girl who'd previously been kissing his neck lifted her head and made an annoyed sound in the back of her throat. Any other time, he would have ignored it, but tonight he was beyond ticked and even the smallest thing could make him explode. Too late. Pushing the girl off him, he reached down, yanking the masks up, and stalked over to the clutz. "I assure you, it is not hard to watch where the hell you are going." His different colored eyes were stormy as he shoved the masks back into the boxes. The cardboard nearly caught on fire, reacting to his pissy mood.

message 69: by Ash (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) "Excuse me," Ziv replied mildly. "But I do believe your flames will not be of much help in cleaning up. I'd rather not be blamed for the store catching fire. I think maybe you need to calm down somewhere, maybe on the beach or in some nifty little vacation-spot. You seem tense." She easily collected the rest of the masks and neatly arranged them before replacing them in their previous slots.

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) ((Aw:D They is cute;) ))

message 71: by Me, Myself, and I (last edited Jul 22, 2012 09:43AM) (new)

Me, Myself, and I Cethin stared at her for a second, one blue and one amber eye sparkling with pent up frustration. Setting the store on fire might temporarily relieve some of the anger, but he knew the family who owned the store. They were good people. Blowing out a breath, he reached down and grabbed more of the masks on the ground, dumping them in the box. "All comes with the job." The words were growled under his breath. He'd gladly head back home and sit by a fire, letting the heat wash away his anger, but Blythe had seemed to be going there. Facing her at that exact moment would only make things worse.

message 72: by Ash (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) "Tension does? I'm glad I'll never be an Elder," Ziv replied easily, sweeping her ash-blond hair behind her ear and working systematically to replace what she'd knocked over. "If being a bit clumsy is a crime, I hope it's not one punishable by death because then I'd be in trouble. I know who you are, Mr. Cethin Womanizer, but I'm Ziven." She smiled slightly and her icy-gray eyes sparkled with laughter.

Me, Myself, and I Despite himself, a smirk upturned the corner of Cethin's lips. "It's engraved in the Elder handbook, darling." Since she obviously already knew who he was, it wasn't like he needed the mask anymore. Reaching up, he tugged it down off his face. He continued replacing the masks back in the box, wincing slightly at her words. "Sorry about that. Didn't mean to snap." It wasn't the most heartfelt apology, but what was to be expected from the Fire Elder? Ziven? It was an interesting name, not like the Sophias or Chloes he'd heard a million times before. "Womanizer?" His smirk appeared again, teeth flashing into view. "I don't hear any of the said women complaining." He closed the box's flaps, since all the masks had been put back. At least, from that box. "It's nice to meet you, Ziv. Wish it had been under different circumstances."

message 74: by Ash (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) "I don't," Ziv hummed bluntly. "I'm perfectly fine with meeting like this. I'm a rather clumsy person and I'm glad that fact has been realized early on. I do however, accept your apology." She paused a moment, another small smile appearing on her face. "And they're probably not complaining because they think they're lucky they got screwed by an Elder." She moved onto the next box, collecting the scattered masks and neatly placing them.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin smirked. "Good to know. Remind me not to keep anything fragile around you, in that case." His different colored eyes flickered up to look at her for a second before he grabbed more of the masks decorating the wood, tossing them back in the other box. At least someone can control her temper. Again, unlike a lot of girls he dealt with. "Think they're lucky?" He cocked an eyebrow. "I don't just screw anyone, you know." He had standards. So if they lived up to them, they should feel accomplished. He leaned over her to look into the box she was fixing and he snorted. "They're just gonna be pulled right back out, you know that, right?"

message 76: by Ash (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) "I am so very honored to be in your presence, King of the Man-Whores," Ziv remarked dryly, smirking playfully at him. "And I'm sure they were all very honored as well. Deemed worthy by the One-Night-Stander." She snorted delicately and continued to arrange everything PROPERLY. "I wouldn't want to buy crap. Why would some-one-else?"

message 77: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe awkward;y positioned herself in a way that made it hard to see past. She hummed a short lullaby to herself. It was one her late mother had sang to her when she was a child.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin shrugged, not looking incredibly offended. He'd been called worse before- but it was still interesting that she'd called him on it so soon. "As you should be." He smirked back. "It takes certain traits and talents to be placed as high as 'King' out of all the other man whores, babe." Winking, he dropped more masks into the box. "Hell yeah. It is not an easy task, I'll have you know." Lies. His teeth flashed as he grinned, the wind ruffling through this chestnut colored hair. "The way a product is displayed does not take away from the product itself." His tone was one of a teacher talking to a student and he couldn't help but give a small snicker.

message 79: by Ash (last edited Jul 22, 2012 02:32PM) (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) "Doesn't it? I think it does. People usually judge by appearances only," Zic commented softly, a slight frown marring her features. "Even I do. Humans are a society based on physical looks. Elementals are as well. It should be more worrying, and yet, it's not." Her hands continued to work on auto-pilot, scooping up masks and orderly placing them in their respective places. "People really only pretend to be moral. Because most everyone has a dark part. Oh dear, it seems I've changed out innocent conversation into a philosophized debate."

Me, Myself, and I Cethin laughed at her words, smirk still playing at his lips. "Looks like we have a cynic on our hands, hm?" He continued to toss the masks into the box, different colored eyes focused instead of the task before them, but the girls walking by. They giggled, some casting glances and small waves, before he looked back at Ziven. Still not paying the masks any mind. "I don't do the whole 'deep thinking' shit. Thinking about the here and now does it for me." Like they were talking about their drug of choice.

message 81: by Ash (new)

Ash Shelley (AshShelley) "Is that so?" She remarked calmly. "I believe in that, but you should also question the future. Everybody dies eventually, and no matter how rich youare, money will not leave much for memories. Family on the other hand..." Ziv finished that box, stacking it neatly on the other one. "I do believe you have some admirers."

message 82: by Griffin (new)

Griffin (griffintwemlow) | 31 comments Elena walked into the shop, marvelling at the array of dresses. Everything she had seen so far in the town looked bright and happy and harmless - she had no idea why her grandmother had stopped her going to the masquerade for the previous two years. Though she was 19, it was time for Elena to buy her first masquerade mask and dress.

message 83: by Griffin (new)

Griffin (griffintwemlow) | 31 comments She rifled through the racks, eventually deciding on a simple ivory floor length gown. It had subtle flower embroidery that seemed almost metallic - it caught the light as she moved the fabric through her fingers. She moved over to the masks. There were many different styles and colours, but her favourite was a delicate dark green one, so dark it was almost black. It had many cut out sections, making a leaf pattern in lace style.

Elena took both items to the changing rooms to try them on. She was shocked at how different they made her look - older, and more like an ethereal wood nymph than a girl. But they fitted, and she paid for them quickly and walked out of the shop.

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Rick walked into the shop. Trent was with him so he let the door swing and see if it would hit Trent in the face. "oh heads up." he said after Trent caught the door trying to keep a straight face.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) Trent caught the door in time and smirked as he saw the look in Rick's eyes. "Very funny man try and keep a straight face why don't ya." He said seeing Rick's mouth twitch as he tried so hard not to smile.

wanderer (chloemai) Haven walked into the shop, Cole on her hip, even though she had already purchased a dress along with her mask and shoes, but there was no harm in looking again. She placed Cole down on the floor and he held her hand nicely.

message 87: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Rick heard the door openen again and turned to look to see who it was. He stopped in amazment at the sight of a little boy. Rick came over and said "Hi, I'm Rick...is that your son?" He asked.

wanderer (chloemai) "Oh, um no, this is my little brother Cole, and im Haven."
She replied, confused about why this boy had just approached her for no apparent reason other than to ask about her little brother.

message 89: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Cole decided he didnt want to behave anymore as his face turned up in a frown and he began to cry. Rolling her eyes Haven picked him up and began bouncing him up and down and swaying side to side, continuing to study the boy in front of her.

message 90: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) "Oh," Rick frowned nto really sure how to tell her she had to leave and take her little brother out of town. "Have you ever been here before?" he asked "To the ball I mean not the town." He added quickly, trying not to cause offence.

message 91: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) She shook her head and an excited smile played on her lips.
"this year is my first year coming, last year Cole was to young for me to leave him and my parents werent home, but this year they are taking the day off so i can attend"
She looked at him for a minute and asked
"Am i not supposed to be here?"

message 92: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) "No no not at all." HE said quickly. Her smile was catching nad he found himself smiling too. "It's just wel....I was wondering if anyone told you the rules or not?" Every parents was suppose to tell the rules to their children and th elders where suppose to make sure that happened but every now and again someone came who hadn't heard.

message 93: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "Um no my parents havent really had enough time, ive been looking after Cole and they are working closly with the elders so we dont really talk that often." she said, her brow slightly creased into a frown.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) (( sorry ! ))

Trent walked into the shop and walked around as he went on the hunt for a mask for his best bud. He saw a few masks but a lot of them were quite girly, he then realised he was in the girls section.

((I am bringing in my Ari charter now so Trent has someone to talk to.))

Elli came into the shop with a light bounce in her step. There were a lot of people in here she saw, unusual this early in the day. She went over to the girls mask section and saw a good looking guy looking at the mask. She smiled at him "See anything you like?"

message 98: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "Age limit?" she questioned. She looked over at the boy that had been pointed out and then her eyes gazed back to Ricks.
Even though she had a thousand comments on how stupid the idea was and could feel her face begin to boil out of embaressment she tried to remain cool.
She didnt want to give off a bad impression, plus this was her first masquerade. She sighed realising that she had told the taxi owner to come back at a later time, she had planned on taking Cole down the beach to get ice creams but she guessed that had been flushed down the pan by now.
The only way to get home is to walk, and although Coles buggy was outside, she didnt know if she could handle a 3 hour walk home.

message 99: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Haven looked at Ricks face. He was quite handsome, but she had never been with anybody before, living on the outskirts of town and caring for Cole had insured that. She didnt really have friends unless you would count animals and family as friends, which she didnt. Sighing Haven looked at Cole, feeling anger towards her parents well inside of her. It was common for her and her mother to fight. Both had hot, fiery tempers and usually the results of the fight were expolsive, leading to neither of them talking for a few days.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) Trent was looking at the masks and was about to head over to the mens section when he heard someone talking to him. He looked up and saw a lovely looking blonde in front of him. "Uh yeah..." He said glad he had his mask on as he blushed a little.
