" How was the rest of your day?" she asked with her eyes half shut.
"Hard mail delievering," he joked.
Charity giggled a little," I bet." she said.
"Yeah. So exciting."
She smiled," Well all I did was dream."
"About?"
" Dancing my solo on stage." she said wistfully
Johnny smiled. "Sound's nice."
She nodded," That and my parents were actually there"
He frowned a bit. "They never come?"
Charity shook her head sadly," No they are always doing something. Dad is is the middle of a surgery and mom is at court or something."
Johnny pressed his lips together. "I could come."
Her eyes shot open," Really?" she asked in wonder
"Of course!"
"Well if I get outta here in time you can watch me solo."
"Alright," he said with a smile.
"I just hope I'm strong enough when I get out"
"Believe."
Charity smiled,"Alright I will."
"I'm sure everything'll be alright, then."
Johnny looked into her eyes and smiled.
"I hope you do your solo."
"Me too. Its even to one of my favorite songs." she said her eyes sparkling.
"Which one is that?"
" Only Hope. Its from A Walk to Remember one of my all time favotite movies even though it makes me cry."
He smiled. "I love that movie."
"Are you serious?" Charity asked excitedly " I think you are the only guy I knoew who would say that." She sat up quickly then fell back her face a little pale.
"Whoah, whoah, don't get so excited," he chuckled, easing her back.
" I know, I know I have to calm down, but its nice to have someone to talk to who doesn't seem to be afraid of being himself around me." she said taking a deep breath.
He smiled. "I just don't want you to hurt yourself."
Charity snorted," Thats a good one I try not to how do you think I end up here?" she asked thinking of what happened a few days ago. Which landed her here again
"I don't know....what?"
" Because of my cancer my blood doesn't clot so a few days ago I was being smart and banged my leg against a corner in my house."
"Oh," he said with a frown.
Charity shrugged," You eventually get used to it sort of."(( I'm going to be gone this next week on vacation.))
((Okay))He nodded and sighed.
"What's wrong?" she asked concern filling her voice.
"Nothing, just worried."
"About you!"
" Oh" she said laying back, "I'll be fine" this said faintly.
"You sure?"
Johnny nodded. "Visiting hours are over soon."
Charity sighed softly," I know."
"I'll come tomorrow, okay?"
