D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments Does GR have any means to establish a dedicated discussion thread for each book (should the author or readers start it)? It seems pointless discussing it in multiple forums, all of which the readership would have to join to take part in the discussion - and where the discussion is not centralized.

I see there is a hint at this at the bottom of each book's page, but it seems only to link to group discussions.

This might also be an idea that could apply to global author threads, too.

I suppose GR could have dedicated forums for this, but this author/book forum would need to be very visible, perhaps continually promoted when GR users add books etc.

Thoughts?

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments If you to the very bottom of your book page, clicking new topic will start a topic on the book, but not within a group or anything.

this is used for general book discussions. i see a lot of them on mainstream series'

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments The problem with this is that I could discuss a book when I'd just read it but a week later there are 3 others jostling in my overheated brain.
