Kristen | 1179 comments People seemed to like talking about Hark! a Vagrant, so I am making a topic! Did anyone see the latest update? http://harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=339 It's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. I couldn't stop giggling!

Katie (katiebakes641) This is The Idler pictures, yes? It was very silly and I liked it. It is always very funny when she takes old pictures/illustrations and makes fun of them. I remeber when she did the Canadian political cartoons, those were good.

Kristen | 1179 comments I love the Gorey book cover comics! The art on the cover is already kinda strange or silly and then Beaton amps it up. She is literally judging a book by its cover, and it turns out to be hilarious.

Katie (katiebakes641) Yes, I think the Gorey covers are the best. Nancy Drew is funny but it's always just how silly she is.

Andrea Laham (vborealis) | 1 comments I saw the latest update via Beaton's Tumblr account. It is HILARIOUS. I have never loved little ponies more!
I also like her depictions of superheroes (I'm a huge Batman fan) as well as her comics covering the book 'Wuthering Heights.'

All in all, I am so happy to have found this webcomic!

I definitely agree with you on all counts. This particular comic is one of my personal favorites: http://harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=295

Katie (katiebakes641) There's a new comic up! It's like one of her classics; this time it's making fun of historical movies.

Kristen | 1179 comments It's been a while since she has done comics like these. I thought this batch was pretty funny, even though a lot of them kinda went over my head. I kinda like that I don't understand a lot of Beaton's comics. It makes them seem more intelligent.

Katie (katiebakes641) I know what you mean. I was a history major and I still don't know some of what she's covered. And I also liked the throwback nature of this one.
