Helloooooo. I was looking in all of my groups for a topic about about swearing in music, and I couldn't find one. So I'll just ask here. What do you think about music that swears?
I don't mind it. Actually, I prefer it. Cuss words are just more ways to get our point across. The best way actauuly, because of how people react to them. Like, in the Eminem song "Cleanin' Out My Closet":

"How dare you try to take what you didn't help me to get.
You selfish b**tch, I hope you f**king burn in H*ll for this sh*t!"

One of my favorite lines ever. But if it didn't have the swear words, it wouldn't be near as sad or powerful or angry sounding. Agreed?

I think that you're right, swearing is a good way to get your point across. But I don't think you should swear a lot, like in public or online. You may come across as rude or mean.

hello everyone(: today is monday, 9:40 in the morning over here in japan and i did not want to go 2 school... so i told my mom that i had a sore throat.. and at first she was like: *sigh* "Liana, im not buying that bullshit. what r ur symptoms?"
Me: "Umm... uh... i have a sore throat... and i dont feel good..."
Mom: *sigh* again, "just get ready 4 school..."
20 minutes later...
Mom: "Liana! time to leave!"
Me: no answer.
Mom: *runs upstairs and comes into my room. sees me sleeping in bed. "WHAT R U DOING??? GET READY $ SCHOOL! RIGHT NOW!"
Me: "well i told u that i dont feel good but u dont listen to me so what else am i supposed to do? if i go 2 school i'll just go straight to the nurse's office and tell her i feel sick. then she'll ask me why i didn't just stay absent. and i'll tell her it's cuz my mom didn't believe me."
Mom: errrrr... *slams door and leaves"
