I liked it a lot better than Bella's POV. It was interesting to see things through Jacob's eyes for a change.

I hated Jacobs POV. I feel like we were deprived from some characters based on the focus around Jacob. For instance, Alice and Jasper are awesome. Same with carlisle and Esme. Perhpas they could have told us their "careers" or job titles. We hear that Esme decorates and restores old homes, etc, and we get a sense that Alice works the stocks, but what about the rest of them?
His part was extremely boring. I'm currently re-reading Breaking Dawn for like the fifth time because I always quit and gave up during Jacob's part. :( Ugh... it always got on my nerves. I usually really like Jacob but this POV made me dislike him.
I generally think everyone who's ever been friend zoned won't find Jacob's pee owe vee boring simply because they can sympathized with him. But yeah I also agree that it was entertaining simply because by the last book I was kinda tired of melodramatic Bella.
I thought Jacob's POV was hysterical! Much more interesting than Bella's (and I liked the books so I'm not bashing Bella). I loved seeing all the thoughts of the pack (before he broke from them), loved his snide thoughts about the camps... I don't think any other POV would have worked for that portion of the story.
I skipped most of Jacob's Jarga in Breaking Dawn - i was more interested in Edward and Bella's story.
Yeah, I think it's one of the reasons it took me three months to finish the book.
It was nice to have a different POV, but I would have LOVED to hear what Edward's, Carlisle's, Alice's...and Rose's POV and any other character...can you imagine Rose's POV in Breaking Dawn? and Edwards??? wow!

That would be really nice. I would love a Rosalie POV and Alice's POV would be cool too, but it wouldn't make sense cause she isn't a main character i

Reading it was like nails on a chalkboard, only it was in my own head and caused by reading it.
I was bored, too, with Jacob's POV at first, and I kept wondering "Why did Meyers do this??" and then I got to the part when Jacob sees Renesmee for the first time and what happens to him and I thought "AH! NOW I know why she did this!" Because ever since New Moon...Jacob's character in relation to his wolf-side was always missing one crucial element, which was the Imprinting. It was something we always assumed would be with Bella, and so when it did happen, it was not only wonderfully unexpected, but also was all the more emotional because we were seeing it from his POV.
So, yes, it was boring for a bit; but it was all for a wonderful build up and climax that I think couldn't have been accomplished in any other way.

I loved his point of view! Honestly I was just glad to get a break from Bella's stupid whiny point of view for awhile. It didn't matter if his was interesting or boring it was just a nice change.
i think she did it from his pov because all bella was doin at that time was laying on the couch being pregnant and all that soooo compared to what hers would have been im ok with jacobs but wish him and edward would have lik shared that void somehow
me, i was counting the pages to bella's view.
i liked jacobs pov better than bellas,i was excited to get to his part because he is my favorite:)
I found it to be extremely boring and it made me not like his character more. I'm not one of those team Edward team Jacob fans. I just truly didn't like Jacob after the first book. He just seemed like some annoying little boy who couldn't get a clue or over his crush. If it was up to me he would've stayed in the background where he belonged.
I liked the humor in his POV, but I sorely missed the rest of the characters.
I liked it at first for something different than Bella's, but then it started to drag on. I did like his POV during the childbirth because I don't think Bella's would have been as effective. And I agree with the one comment above...would have been nice to hear Edward's POV!
