What was the dark scene the author was talking about?

Think it was the part with cigar gettijng tortured by penny. It was pretty much the most gruesome scene in the book
Albert (the worst person in all of the FAYZ) abandoned them and went on to live on that island didn't he?

ohhhh. Yeah that makes sense. The books did get pretty creepy at times but that was just horrible.

I think its Sam and not Caine because in one scene in the book there mother is talking to her boyfriend (I think it was her boyfriend, I'm not sure) and she told him why she kept Sam and gave Caine up for adoption. Like how she felt Caine was going to grow up and be evil or something like that.

Me! :)
I was so surprised to find out he was the gay one but he's still like one of the coolest characters. I love Sam but I honestly think Edilio is a way better leader.

1) Remember that it was originally titled DARKNESS.
2) At one point Sam will rub Diana's tummy.
3) Astrid-ha..."
I would have to agree, but it is by far my favorite. And yes, it's the part of which Diana gives birth to Gaia, but whose heart gets broken? Why Sam and not Caine? And what betreyal?
I think Quinn's heart was broken when he found out Lana was with Sanjit. Sam and Caine's mom sensed Caine was evil and gave him up. Albert betrayed the people of Perdido beach when he just ran out on them when he was supposed to be their leader

as Jordan said, its Sam not Caine because their mother sensed Caine was evil and gave him up

haha yeah I think you're right :P
I don't really remember but I don't think Quinn's heart was broken. I think he was just upset that Lana and Sanjit got together. It wasn't like he was in love with her anyways, it was more like a crush.

I still really hate Astrid.

I know, me too. Though, please don't jinx it. In any book, the person who's most depended on, usually die. Oh god, please no...!!! 0_0

How?!
How?!
1) Remember that it was originally titled DARKNESS.
2) At one point Sam will rub Diana's tummy.
3) Astrid-haters will love her by the end.
4) There's a surprising "coming out.
5)... A heart will be broken.
6) You will learn why Sam and not Caine
7) There is a huge betrayal.
8) Someone will lose their virginity.
9) Someone we know will die.
10) A scene so dark and anguished my editors wanted me to tone it down. (Of course I didn't. How long have you known me?)
I read the book and I've figured them all out except for the last one. What was the scene that was so dark and anguished? Is it when Diana gives birth? Or is it when they are fighting and Sam shoots his light thing at the baby? This book didn't really seem any darker or scarier then the previous ones :S
