I like to read just before laying down for the night.I prefer the book itself to kindle or any other form.
do you have a favourite position that you like to read in?Usually laying in the bed
do you save books to read at specific times? Not really.Usually go by my mood after finishing a book.

No Tab.
I have a few friends with a kindle. And they love it. I have always gone for the e reader option.
I cannot read in bed....I wouldn't get to sleep.
I have been known to save books for the train travel into work.
Main thing is I have to be comfy when I read.
When I'm at my boyfriends house I have a chair...I have claimed it mine and it is sooo comfy. I do equal amounts of TV watching reading and napping( not necessarily in that order). But it I have to curled up.
However the times I have read on the couch at home , my feet stray to the headrest bit, or the armrest...whichever is more comfy for me but other people might think I'm weird!

I have to have some kind of noise in the room when I read,so I keep the television going.
Do save you books after you read them Adele?
Do save you books after you read them Adele?

Where do you buy your books?book clubs?
Yep, all my books are saved on my tablet PC. I get them mainly from amazon( I have a beaut kindle app). But there are a few free sites like breathlesspress.com and allromanceebooks.com that you can get legitimate free books.
Goodreads also has an online e reading /downloading system.
And because my system is android I can buy books off Google play( formerly android market). But I understand you can buy them from I tunes as well.
Majority of the sites that sell books, you may find they do e books as well. So shop around.
But i love to buy the physical copy of a book if I have the finances.
If not it's off to the library for me! I try not to read there as they don't have comfy chairs!
I'm very similar to you brandy, when I come back from the library I usually try to get the whole set start to finish.I have to read it or else I go crazy!
When n I read on the train I have my earphones on with my favourite tunes on. I really don't like to be disturbed on the train.
My best friend runs a bath and reads in the bath....personally I'd be terrified of getting the pages wet....especially if it is from the library!

Thanks Adele for your response to my question.
Jamie,I notice when I take my mother to her appointments there is alot people there with their books(especially women).I tried doing this but find myself easily distracted.
Starting reading several years ago when I was a security guard at local company.I started mostly to help me from falling a asleep and now all I want to do is read.

This is good.
I also googled comfortable reading positions. Yeah I was bored! But it was interesting.

I have just updated my original message...I reread it and I felt it needed clarification....so I added it!

You're in good company. I've always felt that way myself. Last night, I read the first chapter of Education of a Wandering Man by Louis L'Amour, an autobiography of his education, & he says the same thing. I forget the exact number, but I think he said he read 50 books one year just waiting for the dentist, riding in public transportation, & such things. His point being, there is no excuse for not reading. We do have time.

Wow Horace that is alot of books to read.Be haappy if I get 5 in,lol.Seems like a interesting book though, will to keep it in mind.
I've been reading about 150 books a year most of my life & have a fairly busy life. We do watch an hour or so of TV daily, too. Still, in my lifetime, I probably won't read 1% of the books that were published this year. So little time, so many books!
;-)
;-)

Thinking that maybe I should extend some of my reading time into my half hour lunch period.Find when I read little else matters.

I don't get the chance very often, but I'm working on it... :)
@RG
Does reading after work help you relax?

Cold winter days, I'm covered, with the blanket over the heat vent. hehehe.

I like to read in bed especially during winter so that I can put the electric blanket on :)

I'm discovering the joys of my book seat. its like a bean bag for your books to lean on( kinda like a book stand except it's squishy). with my tablet PC recently, I read in bed all snuggled up. but as it is summer here I am going to find a new reading spot...that isn't so heated!

I also love reading curled up on a sofa rugged up when it's winter.
When I read in bed, it can get a bit uncomfortable for me. My hands are exposed so they get very cold. Sometimes they get tired from holding the book up so long, so I gather all my pillows to make a back rest. Then it starts to get uncomfortable. I still do it though!
Also reading outside surrounded by fresh air, however cliche that may sound, is fantastic.

do you have a favourite position that you like to read in? On the bed on your tummy or side. Couch -draped all over it.
do you save books to read at specific times?long trip coming up or just during lunch break at work or school.
I like to read books but i also read on my Tablet pc.
curled up on the couch under a blanket.
i tried to read next to the pool on holidays once but i found it very uncomfortable. i also save books to read on the train.
