Nina (morgendorffer) | 6 comments I am looking for a book I read maybe in the late 90s/early 00s about a boy kidnapped as a baby and raised as the kidnapper's son. The boy has one extra finger and one extra toe. As a grown up he meets his biological sister who has one green eye, the other blue. Unknown to both of them that they're related, they end up having sex.

Google wasn't really helpful with this. Hope someone can solve this. Thanks!

This sounds like an interesting book, Nina. Do you recall if it is young adult, or adult? I'm going to move your post to the Unsolved Folder, which is for searches for particular books.

The "books in general" folder is if you wanted any and every book that is about boys kidnapped as babies.

Nina (morgendorffer) | 6 comments I'm pretty sure it's in the Adult category of books.

Hopefully someone can solve this. Thanks, Kate!

Nina, are you still looking for this book?

Nina (morgendorffer) | 6 comments Yes, I still can't remember the title at all.

Were there any paranormal aspects? Was it a thriller - or did it seem more like genre/mass market fiction, or more like literary fiction? Do you remember anything about the cover?

Nina (morgendorffer) | 6 comments There weren't any paranormal aspects. The cover was a drawing/cartoon of a man riding a motorcycle and a baby with him in the bike in front of him.

Nina--if you bump up your thread periodically, you'll have a better chance of getting it found.

What country is it set in? What's the tone of the book - creepy, comical, other?

message 10: by Nina (new) - rated it 4 stars

Nina (morgendorffer) | 6 comments It's set in the US. The tone was light and easy to read, like reading a novel by Nick Hornby. It wasn't creepy or anything.

Congrats on finally finding it Nina. Last month (May) I had one found from 2011, so maybe we're going to have a run on older threads being solved. Wouldn't that be great? :o)
